Must-Try 2-Minute Instant Pre-mixes | Balcony & Dining Decor | Indian Homemaker's Day

Thanks for joining me today ! I have a few pre-mix recipes for breakfast, lunch/snacks and even for dessert that I like to cook sometimes and I decided to share them with you today. As I go along the day as an Indian homemaker, cleaning the balcony, setting up the dining table I also continue to share these wonderful recipes with you. These help in saving a lot of time in the long run and can be used as and when you like.

🌸 Instant Recipe 1
Dry roast poha - use thick one if possible. Into oil add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, fennel seeds very little (optional), roasted peanuts and haldi/turmeric powder, chopped chillies and ginger powder a little
To this mix add lightly roasted poha, salt and a little bit of sugar to be added as per taste. Mix everything and leave it to cool down properly
When serving add hot water only so much that the poha is soaked in it . Cover and keep aside for 6 to 8 minutes. Garnish with sev, finely chopped onion and coriander as dressing. A bit of lemon juice is optional
🌸 Instant Recipe 2
Dry roast - 2tbsp each chana dal and urad dal until light golden brown, then dry roast whole red chilllies and garlic pods.
In the next step either dry roast fresh mint leaves till they are super dry and ready to grind or use mint powder made earlier (I like to use microwave to dry my mint leaves)
Grind everything together along with some salt and Mango Powder , sesame seeds (optional)
Additionally and a shorter method
Combine - mint powder, garlic powder, mango powder, red chilli ppwder and 2 dal powders.
When making rice - To oil add jeera/mustard seeds along with some finely chopped onion and add rice along with this powder and your mint rice will be ready. Optionally one can add peanuts in the rice too.
🌸 Instant Recipe 3
1 cup Maida, 6 tbsp coco powder, 4-5 tbsp powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla powder, 1 tsp coffee powder, pinch of salt.
To make mug cake - 1/2 cup premix with 4 tbsp milk + 1 tbsp butter/oil
Do not over mix the batter. Cook this in the microwave for 1-3 minutes, keep checking in between with a skewer. I added chocolate chips for more flavour.
