I'm a fairly seasoned english-irish tourist, I'd give the Ha'penny Bridge Inn near Temple Bar a shout-out, my personal preference of course, you may hate it, and it is Temple Bar prices, but for me it's a go to, the vibe for me is just friendly, and it's simply "a Pub", after the stress of getting to and from the Aiport, if you want a mid-day pint...

Temple Bar gets a bad rep from us purely because of the prices - having said that, some of my best ever nights out have been there. The mix of great music, people buzzing being on their first night out in Dublin, and good pints creates a truly unique atmosphere.

Not from Ireland but the UK (similar climate). The weather can vary a lot, I would say prepare for cold and wet and hope it's not 😂 but don't expect it to be warm even if it isn't wet. I hope you get some good weather for your trip.
