Actual insurance coverage, road assistance and well serviced vehicles are good things. But above all: Shady things going on, with old damage presented as new, and repairs charged for. That's the main thing looking out for. Read reviews, and photograph ANY exterior damages. Even minor scratches. Photograph starting mileage, and amount of gas left.

Really well made video, and a good pick of places to go. Walking around the shops and restaurants in Corralejo, like most do, isn't that interesting. Also, you need a factor 1000 (zink oxide paste) sunblock for your nose. I usually forget that, too.
