MUST VISITS on Lomboks stunning south coast (Bukit Merese & Selong Belanak) | Lombok road trip day 9

On the last day of our Lombok road trip we wanted to visit Bukit Merese & Selong Belanak beach.
Bukit Merese offers beautiful panoramic views of Lombok’s south coast & is just a 20-minute drive from where we were staying in Kuta. Once you get there you’ll need to pay a 10,000 Rp parking fee but that’s it & there’s various ‘Warungs’ dotted around Bukit Merese where you can buy hot & cold drinks & snacks.
After Bukit Merese we went for lunch at Milky Wave, which is a fairly new Japanese restaurant located up on the hillside overlooking Kuta.
Finally, we drove to Selong Belanak beach, which is roughly a 20km drive (30-35 minutes). The beach is fairly long with soft white sand as well as quite a few waves which make it ideal for surfing. The beach is lined with shacks where you can rent surfboards or get something to eat & drink.
