I know I'm YEARS late on this but I was going through some videos with this hair. I just installed mine a day ago. I learned early on while installing as I was separating that I had to leave way more gaps in between each individual piece. I notice that when I fluffed the "inside areas" it was easy to cover my foundation because the hair was big. So when it came to the outet areas closer to the parts is when I put the pieces close and I didn't separate all of them. Some I left as is and some I separated 2 to 3 times. I made a mistake in cutting the ends too bluntly tho because the fluffiness of the hair made my ends kinda flare out. I'd definitely do this style again with knowing what I know now. I love the curl pattern and it is kinda dry like you said but not enough to turn me off to it. Hope you trust again if you haven't already!

I use crochet hair to do individual twist in my hair. I have used water wave (too soft) and corkscrew (perfect) but I'd like try this drip curl hair for the additional length and I think it would make "juicy" twist. My question is do you think the texture of this hair would work well for two-strand style of twists?

You should have shingled with gel and not put them so close together. I feel challenged to see if I can achieve a lower density look by separating it. lol

Noooooo! You should've used mousse. Mousse would have tamed the curls. As well as put more space during the install.

Nah sis. Even taming them with mousse wouldn’t have helped the texture. The hair is too dry. And seperating them enhances that point. It’s a design flaw in my opinion. But it’s cute when left alone.
