@GypsyStacker Yes! Love all the things you can do with a Stream Deck. I have another video on it here. Be sure to check it out and thanks for watching!

That's not what people are saying over on reddit with the new marketplace bullshit. $11 for fucking icon pack?! $40 for Logic Pro Plugin that comes with the Loupedeck. Pretty much every plugin costs around $15 on the stream deck. Blatant money grab by Corsair. You have to be fucking crazy

@williamtopping I tend to stay away from the icon packs and plugins that are paid. I agree with you...I wanted a plugin for Premiere Pro and I think it was something like 30 bucks. Way too much IMO. But I think the creators are setting the price and probably high cause they're paying Elgato to have their stuff on their site. I try to create my own icons, plugins and animated gifs that I've got. If you run your Stream Deck on a PC, there are a ton of places to get plugin's, etc. That's one downside about using this on a Mac

Not sure with your take on the knobs. I had read a few reviews where the knobs are used for sliders changing property values for things such as colour, lighting etc in Photoshop/Lightroom. The users seemed quite pleased with this utility. Now, providing those reviews are legit then I’m wondering if you tried this, or missed in use? I don’t have one of these gadgets yet, but am trying to know if knobs are worthwhile. The cost of plugins seems egregious on the Elgato models. But if there is a much wider variety of them, it may still be worth it for some.

@WINDSHEAR-STUDIO Thanks for watching and the comment! With the knobs on the Plus, if you're going to use apps and control volume and sliders, I think the knobs are perfect. For me, the XL is a better fit because I find myself using buttons more to trigger actions. But, I am using a "volume" type adjustment now on my XL where I have two buttons on top of each other for volume. Top button increases volume and bottom decreases. I don't think I'm using apps like Photoshop or Final Cut Pro enough to make use of multi-layer knob programming. But Black Friday is around the corner and I wouldn't pass up a Plus if it was at a good price. I don't know if it would replace my XL though. The price of plugins is a little crazy I agree. I have another video here where I talk about programming your Stream Deck. If you have the time, you can build your own plugins.

Awe man…Logitech bought Loupedeck? Prepare for over-promised, under delivered features, plagued by bugs, followed by stagnation, and finally abandonment and discontinuation. They make great hardware but can’t seem to make software quality to match.
@brandonontech9 ай бұрын
@WordupG Well that doesn't sound good! Hopefully, they'll do something good or just let Loupedeck remain independent. But, I hear ya...when a big company buys a smaller one, the "magic" of that smaller company tends to disappear eventually. Are you using a Loupedeck now or thinking about getting one?
@WordupG9 ай бұрын
@@brandonontech I was thinking of getting one, or a Stream Deck. To be honest, the Stream Deck is a lot more appealing now knowing Logitech is involved with Loupe. Thanks for the comparison video!

@WordupG Yeah, you bet! I liked the Loupedeck but am pretty happy with my Stream Deck. Working on a couple how-to videos on the Stream Deck coming soon as well!
