From what i seen, its the same way you would do regular box braids instead of 3 sections you use one and you will tuck the luck like you would do your hair.

Are there any cons to braiding over locs? Do you have an after of when she took out her braids by chance?

I’ve had my locs in and out and braids multiple times and the only cons I’ve seen are build up getting stuck and my locs being thinner near the roots. But not by a lot just a bit and I couldn’t tell when I washed it

You can also do an ACV rinse to get rid of the build up after taking the braids out. It helps a lot!!
