Must watch - Guitar Maestro magic

The guitar solo piece in the song " Neele Neele Ambar pe" is not just inspiring solo, but also a challenge for a guitarist whether he/she is a budding or professionla guitarist; this solo piece is surely a task to become master.
Guitarist who want to attempt this solo piece needs to span the entire fretboard of the guitar and requires a extensive practice of fingering techniques to achieve the complicated guitar solo, especially in its original tempo. The two interlude pieces are beautifully composed and have extremely complex playing techniques like chromatic notes, played in triplet and quadruple note values, power chords & variations of plucking.

I am impressed by the enormous confidence and ease- which sri Sunil sir carries during his master play ! He defnitely have magical fingers and guitar is just a childplay for him ! Though it did not perfectly sound as original ,( may be because of sound recording, editing etc ) the gaint talent of Sri Sudhir sir can not be underestimated ! Well played indeed sir!. Yes Vikram! Sunil Kaushik is maestro of guitar. He played in more than 500 songs of hindi, marathi, bengali, tamil industry. Also he is working as independent music director. All aspiring guitarist follow him and try to play the melodies of him....

Yo should hear the original song 'ilaya nila' composed by illaiyaraja Sir. The guitar parts played in the original song was harmonically complex stuff. Original riff was played by R Chandrashekhar Loved Mr Sunil Kaushik's interpretation too. Edit : Thanks Sam Lazarus! 🙏

Kalyanji Anandji took the mukhda of Tamil song... which had complex classical riffs... Hindi version had western riffs which was also beautifully rendered by Sunil kaushik ji ...both versions were outstanding..

Nikhil Sir: I think the original lead guitarist in the Tamil version "Illaya Nila" was played by Mr. Chandrasekhar and not Mr. Sadanandam who was the younger brother of the late Drummer/music assistant/arranger Mr. Purushothaman. Mr. Sadanandam is of course Raaja Sir's main guitarist. Probably be was not in Chennai in 1982 for the recording of this song in the year 1982. I wonder why Mr. Chandrasekhar did not play lead guitar for Raaja Sir on any further recordings

Extremy sorry to say... mr sunil may be a guitsr maestro but he couldnt master it. He fumbled snd tried to manage very smartly. And the 2nd interlude is not also perfect. Bar counting was matching was difficult. And the rhythm was also changed in the original 4 by 4 to 6/8 and then chromatic. He coukdnt do justice at all. This guitar piece is the most difficult one till date.

Agreed......nothing 'Maestro' nor 'Magic'. In fact, his guitar too has not been set up properly (the action is too low, causing a continuous buzz). Ramesh Iyer was far superior and of course, the second to none, was Mr. Dilip Naik (the only guitarist of Bollywood to perform the 'Teesri Manzil - Aaja Aaja piece', three times in a row, perfectly accurately each time, without a single retake). I have personally met the great Mr. Naik back in 1966 and have yet to come across another guitarist like him. This performance by the 'Maestro' is dismal, to say the least.
