The work the company is doing is truly impressive. So love the engineering that goes in behind a lot of what they are achieving. Great, and respect to the whole team.

Simply genius! Safety includes surveying the structure for asbestos and removing them safely. Awesome stuff!

Here in Michigan they avoid all of that pesky demolition, and just wait for the bridges to fall apart underneath you. Who needs all that clean and safety stuff anyways 😂.

Could they have used a cutter chain (like the one they cut the hulls of ships that have sunk) to cut the beams in section and lift them out with a crane? again a well laid out plan that worked to the letter. Thanks for an outstanding video. Bravo Zulu to the workers and planners of this operation. (Mississippi gulf coast, USA)

@@thatclintguy Yeah, if Americans pooled their resources and standardized on methods and materials, I wouldn't have to make that joke. The Germans make awesome boring and build equipment. They have TBMs for pipes and data cables galore. The whole US, especially cities could be slowly modernized and made safer, but piddling townships and municipalities stop work at the city limits. They won't pave one inch for the next township or paint a bridge.

Great. Due to the ridiculous environmental requirements, it probably cost 50 times more to demolish the bridge than it cost to build it in the first place. And it took 5 times longer than necessary. I hope people enjoy paying for this insanity. It's just the beginning.

@@johnknowing-zr8de hardly a hoax...just ask ANY old timer about how the rivers and lakes used to freeze solid to the point they could cut huge blocks of ice and sell them all year long. Now, a winter where the river freezes over in PA is getting really rare. And even if it does freeze, it only lasts a few weeks, not months on end like my grandfathers saw.
@johnknowing-zr8de5 жыл бұрын
thatclintguy Im am old timer in my late 60s, grew up on a creek in the north. Those lake and creeks are getting warmer for ONE basic reason. Millions of miles of new asphalt roads from development The added asphalt put billions of gallons of warmer water into our water shed. I also live near a HUGE river and an avid boater. So lets start with the creeks My creek use to be deeper and faster and dam good fishing 50 years ago The size of the creek at times 100 plus feet wide. Can row on it for miles. Not anymore, the decades of sediment from building created a real shallow creek Generically the more shallow the water the easier to heat the bottom. Add more asphalt heats up the watershed runoff When you heat up rivers such as the Susquehanna that’s a hell of a big radiator!!!! Aside from that we have been coming out of a mini ice age for decades When was the last time the Delaware river froze Back in Gorge Washington days. Lets go to Germany Black forest The Stradivarius Violin which is made from Germany's black forest During the peak of the mini ice age The summer tree growth was short which the growth rings on the tree was short and close This tempered wood density and is WHY that violin became so special. I could go on and On I suggest watching all my vids I posted to hear the other side of the story. Even the founder of Green Peace says it bogus I posted vids of world-renowned scientists and NASA scientist. Ever wonder why Dems changed the narrative from Global warming to Climate Change, which the climate is always changing. I lived through dems last scare in the 70s Look and Life Mags running around with their heads cut off Remember when all scientists said Marshall Island Bikini Atoll will never support life for 1,000 a years, yet 70 years later www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jul/15/quite-odd-coral-and-fish-thrive-on-bikini-atoll-70-years-after-nuclear-tests Nature will always balance itself
