Which side do you glue? Tape side? or top side and then peel the glue off?

the side that have no tape on top. after it dries just peel the tape of

Hello, how are you gluing the veneer. And what do you paint?

I use masking tape to hold the veneer together. And i use wood glue to make the full board.
