Derek great video. I have been putting Xpel on my cars and trucks since 1993. Many improvements to the film over the years. Back in 2008 I was driving to work in my C6 Z06. I had 8mm film on the car and the car in front of me lost its muffler. I was right behind the car doing 68mph and bam, the muffler comes flying right into my low front bumper. As I was pulling over off the road I was scared to death that my awesome Z06 was gonna be mangled in the front. There was a huge 14” x 4” black mark on the bumper but nothing damaged except a huge cut in the PPF. I went back to the PPF dealer and he pulled off the film, polished the paint and reapplied PPF. No permanent damage to the Corvette. The owner has done 12-15 cars and trucks for me. He said that the film at 8mm thick can take a 1” x 1” rock at 140mph and guaranteed to prevent all possible damage. Now with self-healing 10mm film you get even more protection. Heck I was street racing a Cadillac V and the guy’s mirror came off and hit my hood of my Porsche 911 Turbo S at 110 mph…. Zero damage!!! Thew, that was scary also. The new Xpel film doesn’t fade from sun anymore also. PPF is worth every penny. If your car gets into an auto accident make sure to show the insurance adjuster that you have PPF applied so you get reimbursed for it. Save receipts!!! Love your Mach 1. bro im glad you went with PPF on the car ceramic coating does good against water spots and bird due due but it won't protect against rock chips and EGG's lol I got my 2022 Shelby gt500 whole front end PPF and then the rest ceramic coated
