My first car was a Mach1 also we found it in a field in pieces with a blown 351W or should I say not running. I think it was Forest Green I can't remember the name. Nice color in the unfaded areas like under the deck lid kinda bluish but green. Cars with A/C came with that green tint back window to cut down the interior temps I think and the original carbs are really rare let alone a 4V. Were all 69' 390's 4V's? Wow that is a true vault find I could stare at this car for days just soaking in everything. My console was gone or maybe it was never there. It was an Auto car power disc brakes in the front drum in the rear. You never forget driving them with that hood scoop(Cobra Jet named?)with the turn signal light, high back bucket seats....anyone who's had one can agree you never forget a Mach1.

Check in your right front wheel well, on the body apron you should find 'S5D' in grease pencil, letters will be very large. If you don't see it, clean and look again. S=390, 5=black out hood, D=disk brake. All the San Jose Mach 1's were this way, I have verified on many orig cars, including my own.

Yes he said he paid 27k for it a couple of years ago so I suspect he would want a bit more to part with it.
