Muta put the finger on the sore spot! Old Testament in Hebrew, New Testament in Greek. Neither African languages, though Hebrew could be derived from Ge'ez (Ethiopic). Point is we, Africans in The Diaspora need a collective history and a collective spiritual discourse, otherwise we don 't really exist outside slavery. I find this a difficult problem to tackle. Muta, it means that you need to do further studies to prove your point about the New Testament being written in Greek if you have doubts. You can start by finding out who were the Disciples and their origins. The Disciples to my knowledge were not Greeks and did not have much interaction with the Greek language so they could not have written the Gospels in Greek. Remember the Bible books were first written in the languages of the writers. Then they were translated into Hebrew and Greeks respectively. From those languages, they continue to be translated into old European languages until they are now translated into the languages we have now. The Bible is real. You just have to read it from a practical viewpoint with no Christian inclusion. Get a good concordance and a cross-reference book and trust me you will learn a lot.

There was no talking snake and donkey. No one made the sun stand still,and no one parted the sea. The biblical God isn't returning,and he ain't saving no one. And there's no such thing as satan.
