Such an enlightening session! The odd harmony between science and faith is because our people are hardwired with religious beliefs since the moment they are born and Science is something they pursue for the sake of an employment. What is happening is they may become a scientist which is only a job that pays him or her their salary. Some how our people have become comfortable with their religious practices even if they are employed in domains that conflict their religious beliefs. And the new trend is applying fanciful interpretation to every religious practice to connect them with modern science or shamelessly claim that the science we know now was already established hundreds or thousands of years ago by our sages and rishis.
