Today, he's the Olympic champion with another great man, Gianmarco Tamberi. Amazing, guys!
@peters61196 жыл бұрын
On his first attempt at 2.46 he only brushed the bar lightly with his ARM on the way up. It was already wobbling before his body got there but his whole body ... shoulders, hips legs ... was clearly over by several cm, suggesting that he is capable of jumping that high. However, he can't expect to have too many chances like that. This was a missed opportunity to be a legend forever. He might never have another chance again where he is jumping that well. These chances are fleeting and track and field world records are incredible feats which is why they are not broken very often. This record is one of the most incredible of them all. Barshim is amazing to even be able to challenge it. I hope he does it but I fear that this might have been the best opportunity he every gets.

@christopher69696 жыл бұрын
The take off point has to be closer as the bar gets higher, you can not be that far away at greater heights. The upward momentum is comprimised because of the distance traveled across.
