Nice job diagnosing how the 1/2 power switch works on that amp. I would have liked knowing more about the dual rectifiers, and how the amp operates with only one rectifier tube installed.

Ceriatones are hand made in Malaysia by Nik and his top flight crew. They do sell these as kits as well, so I can't see/tell who built this. Ceriatone's wireing is prostinely done. I have one of these and love it, but it is loud and it is heavy. It is a clone of the Matchless C30 which itself was a derivative a Vox top boost circuit on channel one and a Vox ef86 circuit in channel 2 as on an early ac30/4. The best Vox that Vox never made. It is bright on channel one just as a Vox is, but can be tamed by the cut knob as on a Vox. Great amp particularly for the $$$. You are a fine player. Enjoy listening to you play. Hi Martyn, Steve here in Bangkok.Went down to Ceriatone to see Nik and his team some years ago in Malaysia, when I started building amps. Ha sells his amps as kits or completely built up (this one looks built up by them) and then interfered with. Anyways nice amps, i bought some transformers from them, but I don't know if they are still operating. I've got a guy in Bangkok winding transformers for me now. Nice playing as always, could do with a good jam session myself!

I owned a Ceriatone Muchless Bad Cat Hot Cat - I believe is what they called it. I liked it but I didn't love it, it went quick on Reverb. Well crafted not sure where the transformers were sourced from but pretty cool amp in all. Well done Martyn, take care.
