"Der Höckerschwan, auch bekannt als Cygnus olor, ist eine majestätische Wasservogelart, die in Europa und Asien heimisch ist. Mit ihrem eleganten weißen Federkleid und dem charakteristischen schwarzen Schnabel ist sie leicht zu erkennen. Diese Vögel sind bekannt für ihre Anpassungsfähigkeit an verschiedene Lebensräume. Sie sind in Seen, Flüssen, Teichen und sogar in städtischen Gewässern zu finden. Dabei halten sie sich lieber in flachen Gewässern mit ausreichendem Pflanzenwuchs und Wasserpflanzen auf, in denen sie ihre Nahrung finden können.
Höckerschwäne ernähren sich hauptsächlich von Wasserpflanzen und Gras. Dabei nehmen sie auch kleine Insekten und Krebstiere auf, um ihre Nährstoffversorgung zu komplettieren.
Sobald sich das Paar gefunden hat, bleiben sie oft ein Leben lang zusammen. Vor der Paarung beginnt das Nestbauverhalten. Die Weibchen legen zwischen 5 und 10 Eiern, die über einen Zeitraum von rund 30 Tagen ausgebrütet werden. Während dieser Zeit ist das Männchen in der Nähe des Nestes und verteidigt es vor Bedrohungen. Einige Male am Tag wechselt sich das Brutpaar bei der Brutpflege ab, so dass jedes Tier die Möglichkeit hat, sich zu ernähren und zu trinken. Sobald die Jungen geschlüpft sind, beginnen die Eltern mit der Fütterung. Die Jungschwäne werden mit Wasserlinsen und anderen Pflanzen sowie kleinen Krabben und Insekten gefüttert. Die Brutpflege dauert normalerweise etwa 3 Monate, bevor die Eltern die Jungen fliegen lassen."
"Lebăda de vară (Cygnus olor) este cea mai numeroasă și mai răspândită dintre lebede. Trăiește în zone cu apă dulce sau sărată: lacuri, iazuri, râuri, ape de coastă, lagune, estuare, mlaștini. Deseori poate fi găsită și în zonele urbane. Se hrănesc cu vegetație acvatică, grâne, insecte și melci. În sălbăticie, trăiesc în medie 10 ani. La patru ani atinge maturitatea sexuală. Perechile deseori rămân împreună toată viața, deși uneori mai și divorțează. În ritualul nupțial, partenerii își ating ciocurile și piepturile sau își încolăcesc gâturile unul după altul. Masculul apără cu agresivitate teritoriul, iar femela construiește cuibul solitar: o movila înaltă de vegetație pe mal sau printre trestii, cuib la care vor reveni și în anii următori. Depun ouăle pe la mijlocul lunii aprilie, patru-nouă ouă, sunt clocite o perioada de 35-41 de zile de către femelă în special, dar masculul o ajută. Ambii părinți au grijă de pui, care pot părăsi cuibul după 120-150 de zile. Puii rămân cu părinții în prima iarnă din viața lor. Scot un singur rând de pui pe an."

Cat pot fi de frumoase!!! Cine stie daca e chiar ok cu luatul oualor, cred ca parintii nu au fost prea fericiti! Masculul este intr-adevar foarte agresiv... La inceputul lunii mai 2023 vizitam Unterach am Attersee. Plimbandu-ma cu catelusa, am vazut de departe "o statuie alba" in mijlocul unei peluze. Mi-am zis: Wow, ce frumoasa este!!!" si m-am apropiat cu gandul de a o fotografia! Dragul de lebadoi m-a lasat sa ma apropii bine de tot fara ca macar sa isi miste capul iar pe cand focalizam, si-a intins deodata aripile, batandu-le ca pentru zbor si a pornit rapid spre noi, cu gandul vadit de a ne da batuta... Am reusit sa fugim si sa ne ascundem intr-un foisor de lemn din apropiere. S-a uitat ce s-a uitat la noi si apoi a pornit leganat spre lac. Nu a avut treaba nimanui de pe alee. Odata disparut in stufaris, am avut curajul sa mergem si noi spre ponton.Nu a mai aparut... probabil aveau cuib pe mal, undeva. O seara frumoasa iti doresc, prietena draga!

Este un pericol si pentru puii de lisita, rate, gainuse de balta, corcodei... Legile naturii sunt adesea foarte dure...

Hallo Monica, ja, das ist mir sehr vertrautes Material. Mehrere Jahre lang habe ich eine Schwanenfamilie in der Stadt Groningen verfolgt und gefilmt. Schwäne sind wunderschöne Tiere, und die dummen Vorstellungen, die die Menschen über diese Vögel haben, na ja, die Schwäne sind dafür nicht verantwortlich.
