I was doing security at a gig here in Sydney where this guys were the first support act. I see lots of bands at this venue that are generally IMO pretty average and I pay little attention. But when the Mutemath drummer was warming up before the doors opened, myself and another guard's jaws dropped - This guy damn near drummed the skins off those drums and this was just a warm up. All I can say is - holly shit MuteMath were kick ass! They made the following acts look very plain in comparison. Awesome act, extremely entertaining, really into it, cool music. The vocalist did a god damn handstand on his keyboard and flipped over into this upside down position and still attempted to keep playing! Why this guys are not more famous is beyond me. This is what live entertainment should be! If you have a chance to see these guys live.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Always thought this was a better way of using the "record it backwards play it forwards" technique than Coldplay's "The Scientist", although that video is good work as well. Sucha good first album from MuteMath this record was/still is!!
