Precious lessons from Muthoni: 1. Before you get married find out what that person fears/respects. If they fear nothing, who are you? 2. Red flags show up even in early stages but we choose to overlook them especially when we are in love. 3. "If you have an image to maintain, you need to stop cos that's the fakest thing ever." Thanks for reminding me to stop doing things just to prove a point 😅 4. Don't take a loan to pay off debts 5. If you haven't failed, then you have not started. 🤯🤯🤯 6. Live within your means. Don't be ashamed to go back to your mum's house, that's where you came from. 7. What matters most is not the money you have made, what you have lost or gained in the process, it's about the core values gained in the process and those you have empowered 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 My mind is blown 🤯

I always have to quit watching most lady stories midway because they lose appeal so fast, but....I had to watch this one to the very last minute. I've never seen a lady so articulate as she is. Wow!! You're a Jewel Muthoni, keep pushing your limits.

Great lessons learnt. She broke same rules she applied to succeed such as spending more than what she was earning. She would have stayed with her mother after leaving the husband until her financial health is restored. Luckily she has learnt her lessons early innlife so the future is bright. Kudos to the interviewer, she's so good, asking the right questions and allowing the guest to move in her pace. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Such an inspiring interview. I have learnt alot. I personally have never taken a loan in my life, because it would give me serious anxiety. But I am very good at managing money and I believe in saving towards what I need rather than taking a loan to fund what I need. So I would never take a loan. But I have learnt alot of valuable lessons. Thank you for sharing your story❤

So beautiful so focused. A typical go-getter., I've got a feeling even the most masculine guy would be uncomfortable with her greatness 💯 Doubtless, patriarchy advocates for this kind of sordid toxicity; a woman is an object to be tossed and turned ,a rag doll to please and pleasure a disturbed ego. Well shame cos she got to roll her dice and didn't dance to his tune.Girl u surpassed that 💯

Weeeee. Thanks so much Muthoni. I have a business struggling this much and I feel so encouraged. On BVG the emotions thqt one invests in the relationship is too much. People need to understand that. This is what pins someone to the relationship. Muthoni you are a courageous woman !

Muthoni is falling shy of calling the ex a narc. She definitely was dating a narc - love bombing, ghosting, silent treatment, fits of rage, cheating, violence and above all she lost herself in the addictionship

A bad spouse is the most destructive weapon in a person's life; a bad partner can reduce you to nothing in a couple of days. I recall our parents warning us about romantic relationships and telling us to tread carefully, and most of us, in our blindness and lust, would throw caution to the wind, which is how most of us got/have been destroyed and are battling to rise again. We need to normalize singlehood; that is, if one receives a decent suitor, that is great; if one does not, that is also OK. Marriage and relationships are not for everyone; some people are not cut out for it.
