❤ your video's...A good tip for those hot humid days, cut up small squares of tissue paper and use as blotting paper for your face when it gets "gliseny". Works like a charm and free if you use the tissue paper that comes in shoe boxes and on clothing!

blackout curtains/shades, bamboo sheets, always wear sunscreen, linen or any natural fabric (viscose,rayon) early morning/later evening for walks/exercise

It’s important to work out how to survive in the heat, face sweaty, hair sweaty, and yes linen is best, clean lines and clear colours. Good hat, good straw hat. Good lipstick will save the moral. Some water with rehydration salts in that big bag. Thank you for the video.

I live in a very hot desert in California where it gets up to 120° during the day and sometimes hotter. I wear cotton clothing . I also wear sunscreen first and then the cotton clothing. Personally, for me a dress is what I wear when it’s hot because I don’t want to wear anything else I like. Just a cool loose cotton dress. Great video. Sorry you’re going through such a heat wave. It’s really bad when you’re not used to it.🇺🇸

1) DON'T use powder at all. Instead use a mineral make up and learn how to apply it properly. It NEVER moves. i.e. Jane Iredale. 2) Drink plenty of water but not more than 1.5 litres per day. 3) Wrap a baby teething gel strip (from the freezer) in a scarf and wrap it around your neck. It keeps your temp down and doesn't make you wet. 4 wear linen clothing and cotton knickers and cotton nightwear. For your car, keep a light coloured towel with you and place it across your dash when you've parked, it keeps the heat out and protects the material in the car. I am a makeup artist and live in Australia and, I'm a Brit, so I know how you're feeling! Stay cool guys! xxx

I definitely need all the heat related tips I can get. The forecast for Wednesday, where I live in Texas, is 110°!! The rest of the week is ranging from 102-109! I’ll be checking out that duvet. My sleep pattern is usually the hot/cold scenario. 🥵🥶😓

I love Heliocare combined with Cerave SPF 50. I no longer wear foundation. It feels good and wearing sunscreen daily improves your skins hydration and condition over time

I sweat dreadfully from my forehead down and anything I put on my face streams off and goes in my eyes. Sunscreen too just slides off and it stings like crazy 😱. Powder wouldn’t work for long on me. A friend in Texas showed me thin sweatbands but the only ones I’ve seen here are thick fluffy things🥵🥵. It’s all a literal pain and I can’t wait for cooler weather, although we did have it worse last year 🙏my hair is always wet and literally dripping too and too short to wear off my face. It’s not at all chic😖

I hate the heat. I remember playing 5 sets singles in a championship as a 16 year old tennis champ in December aus under a cloudless sky at 103 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat makes the nighttime mosquitos more eager and faster moving.

We invested in a 100% cotton 2.5 tog duvet from John Lewis and it’s perfect. A very slight weight so we don’t have that 'nothing covering me' feeling we can get with just a sheet or duvet cover. Thank you for your very helpful videos!

Sorry for the second comment. That’s why we use the sheet before the comforter, and we cover the comforter so we don’t have to wash it all the time I have a cat that lays on the bed and if I didn’t cover that duvet, it would be full of cat hair this way I just take the duvet cover off and wash it. I only have to wash the duvet once every couple weeks. 🇺🇸

I use a sheet under a duvet too . Saves washing the duvet cover as you say. This comforter wouldn't work so well that way though as part of the benefit is the cool material against you.

Light as a feather fabric, hair in a loose top knot with a little soft poof , keeps you cool, and of course, shows off your earings delightfully. And the loose top knot poof hair for those of us with beautifully naturally curly hair ,keeps us at our very best .that if left down instead would not only make us faint with heat, would also make us look lije like roseanna Danna from Rowans and martins laugh in show so very popular in the 70's, im sure most of remember what dreadful bad hair days occur in high humidity.
