With regard to why the outer planets aren't used in Vedic astrology, I heard Maharishi Mahesh Yogi asked this question one time, and his answer, as I remember it was - There can be different systems of astrology being practiced around the world. This system of Vedic astrology is complete within itself. (Meaning it is complete without use of the outer planets.)

Not only the rulers of 6th and 12th but also I was taught that planets in debilitation and fall cannot receive another planet through reception. ( Rob Hand) difficult chart indeed! Thank you. I enjoyed your video and like seeing other views and techniques that work as well.

Very interesting video. I have some of these placements. Mutual reception and sextile of both Benefics in Libra and Sagittarius, Saturn conjunct Jupiter by degree in Libra and both Malefics in their exaltation. I've never heard of the concept of planets being at war. That sounds pretty cool.

Oh wow just changed to sidereal and my Venus and Mars have changed signs no longer in mutual reception. However, Venus is now in Pisces and Jupiter retrograde in Libra.

I have mutual reception Mars in Taurus Venus in Aries 30 degree from eachother but Mars conjunct my ruler planet saturn

Mine are SEXTILE: chart ruler Jupiter 24° Libra with Venus 25° Sagittarius. I would love to think well of these two benefics in mutual reception. Except! They are in the malefic houses: Jupiter in the 11H which belongs to Saturn and Venus in the 1H which belongs to Mars. Does house position remove some of the fortune and favor? I do see where in an early slide 1H and 11H are considered "positive." And I've certainly heard before that the 11H is especially good. That said, I have 4 planets in the 11th - Saturn exalted in Libra there, Mercury, and the aforementioned chart ruler Jupiter tightly conjunct Pluto. Lots of emphasis there.
