Taj Mahal has nothing left to prove. He's cool, suave, and beautiful. I've been a fan since about 1972. I've seen him live several times over the years. He really brings the goods to the stage. God Bless him and may he continue to make people dance until his last days. And though I don't really know as much about Keb Mo as I should, he's smoking hot as is this entire group. Horn sections are so nice in this setting.

Right on Eric...Isn't that cool!! I got a chance to hang out with Taj once.....just the two of us chillin' and rappin' for a couple of hours in the VIP room after his show. I had been a solo act on the road for a long time and he was a riot...giving me some great and hilarious advice. It was two of the best hours of my life!

So I am 72.5, and I missed seeing TajMo and Keb Mo. I listened to some of their music, but at the time I was more into pure rock, and had a rock band, and I owned a Fender Strat (which I still have, any offers?),,, ah I ain't selling my Peggy Lou to nobody. I am enjoying this video so much,,, I feel like taking out my Taylor acoustic and using a slide on it, which with amplification and some controls, makes a mean sound. Hope you youngens are enjoying this, because it don't get no better than this, when it comes to BLUES!

@@mousiebrown1747 Believe we may have been at the same show, indoors, in a building, not one of the eight outdoor venues (including the tented ones) at the NO Jazz and Heritage Fest, in 1990 or 1991, the two springs I was there. That was the venue for performances mixed with questions and answers with the artists. Wish I could hear that or a similar recording of Taj telling stories and performing. When this popped up on KZbin for the 3rd time, I decided I wasn’t looking for something else. Great choice. I got to see Taj many times in SoCal years ago. Always good. He came out clapping his hands only to a song called pushin and shoven. Had everyone on their feet in 10 seconds. He played warm up for Spirit at the Valley Music Theater in West Valley, LA. In the round and the stage rotated every 45 minutes. It was New Years Eve 1970-71. The late show was the great show. One cannot be certain but one could say everybody was tripping. The room was so electrically charged with energy one could just about see the music spinning out as the stage went round and round. Saw Keb Mo a few times here in the Midwest. Kept thinking how much he had the similar affect as Taj Mahal. This is proof and so welcome!!!
