The rookie of the year is very difficulted!! from 1The9, TXT, Teasure13, C9boys, Oneus, VeriVery, HNB, AB6IX, 1Team, and others for debuting, and also others♡ like stray kids, ateez, the boyz, it hurts that although they debuted in 2018 they no longer fall into this category this year(in the awards), for what I understand. All are wonderful groups, and the best thing is not to win the prize, but to be with them even if it's behind a screen♡ I will be supporting all the rookies!! ♡ But more to them since they are a temporary group with a shorter contract let's support them as much as we can in this year! ♡ 1the9 good luck in everything! fighting! ^^

However, this season of produce they are getting a 5 year contract. 2.5 years together and then 2.5 years separate but still together. So those who are part of other groups or actors can do that and still be in the group. It'll be like half and half after 2.5 years.
