For anyone who didn't understand what going on it's like he's the angel of death and when a bell turns black that means he has to take someone's soul when he bury the doll it's means that the owner of the bell has died, but when it was the girl's soul he has to take he started having flashbacks from there past relationship when he was human I think and he couldn't do it so he jumped from the cliff and you can see at the end that his bell has turned black which means he died 😭😭😭😭 it's really sad

Now I'm not exactly sure about the story line but here is my interpretation, which I will get to after some notes The bells go black when someone has died, or is about to die or cross over. The guy takes the black bell, and exchanges them for a doll (it looks like the person), which I assume is a soul of some sort. He then buries these dolls, and I guess that's when the person has officially died. The guy is some death bringer, his role is represented by the cross on his forehead which is also the symbol on his bed, the symbol of the level with the buried souls, the crosses which go over their burial ground, the giant symbol of the thing hanging above his bed from a giant hand? and the symbol on the thing that exchanges bells for souls. Now, the guy keeps on having these dreams of dragging a coffin to a doll, which looks a lot like a bigger version of him (big enough for that giant hand above his bed *cough cough?*). But keeps on startling awake, seemingly when another person's bell is about to turn black. However, there is a bell in his room, separate from all the other bells, and he keeps on checking it nervously, most likely because it is his, and he is afraid of dying, which is ironic because he takes souls to be buried, and it looks like he is dragging a body (maybe his, to a doll). If I look in the elevator, there are 4 levels shown by buttons and on the dial thing. The level of his room, which I believe is a straight line button, like a dash, the triangle button level with the bells, which is lower than his room level, and the cross button level with the buried souls, which is even lower. Then the hourglass button level above his room, which is also the only place with colour and living. So apparently his room is inbetween the dead and the almost dead. Then one day, his own stuffy shows him a bell, and he jolts awake, only to find out that the bell he exchanged is for the soul of someone he knew, he is even trembling. We are later shown to be his lover. He even carries it differently, bridal style, instead of dragging it a long like a ragdoll as shown with the first. He goes up to the hourglass level, and this is where the people who are about to die go, I do not think they actually die until he buries them. He sees his lover there, is filled with memories and can't bring himself to do it. He does not speak to her or confront her though, not sure if he can't (as in they're in different realities), or he can't bring himself to. As he is in between the almost dead and dead, it seems to me as if he left his lover for an offer of immortality, one in which being a death bringer is his job, or maybe he had died, and taking this role was the only way of "not really dying". Upset with himself,and his actions, he is unable to be with or face his lover, he kills himself, the only way to end his repetitive cycle of bringing people to death. His bell fades. Perhaps now he gets to be in the realm of the hourglasses. At the same time, his role has to be replaced, and it only makes me wonder, what happens to his bell, as it is not with the other bells, who can take it? And since he was basically dead, what happened when he killed himself?

Honestly, i loved so much this M/V. The animation is simply beautifull, it's smooth, every single detail is done with such dedication, not to mention, it's estructurated so well that the story isn't dificult to get (well, at least for me haha). As for the song itself, i also love it, it's relaxing, i love the vocals and instrumentals.
