I actually saw them pre debut in myeongdong and hangang park while i was in seoul for vacation and they're so so cute! they stopped us on the street and invited us to their show and afterwards even thanked us for coming. theyre so so sweet! i was following them since them on social media and i am so happy they finally debuted! i love all of them but seokyoung stood out to me the most, she has the biggest smile ever. theyre even more beautiful in real life, i wish them so much success!!

Yes, although her outward appearance is read feminine, her personality and behavior is very tomboy. She likes to rap, and does it in a very masculine way. In many of her performances she chooses to wear suits instead of femming it up like the other members. Off stage, you can see that she likes to wear bigger sized t-shirts, blazers, button ups, and other times, ties and snapbacks. If you watch their shows, her movements have this sort of "swagger" that you don't see in other kpop female idols. You can tell that she really enjoys and takes pride in being a tomboy, unlike Twice's Jeongyeon and DIA's Yebin (Once's and Aideul, don't attack me for this, I am a fan of both bands LOL). I agree! I think they were trying to recreate f(x)'s success with '4 Walls' (they even have a tomboy, it's pretty blatant inspiration) but the MV was the best aspect of this debut. I just don't know why they even had a tomboy in there (I think her name is Miya). I like her the most but she has no lines and barely any time on screen, and the song is very cutesy with the high pitched voices. It wouldn't make sense to add a tomboy with a deep male-ish voice in their music. I really liked the choreography though.

The reason it reminds everyone so much of 4 walls is because it's a genre! It actually reminds me more of Blue Moon, though. This is a beautiful debut. I'm so glad to not have to hear an abundance of noise as a lot of kpop songs are today. Lots of people are saying the song is boring, but I have to disagree. This song knows what it's doing and anything added in would have sounded weird. People have to remember that kpop is korean music. Not everything is going to sound as the pop itself does. If this feels boring to you, its probably because the style itself feels boring. Not to mention, we're used to tons of tone changes through a song, because it's such a huge trend in kpop right now. I appreciate the consistancy. Also, the chorus is a bop.

I find this one of the most interesting debuts this year also with LOONA's, (G)-I.D.L.E and Fromis_9 (talking about girl groups, only). It's interesting how they take a lot of already existing formulas, mainly the cute-school girl craze that's been going on for five to six years now, plus the mystic and space odissey alike concepts groups like WJSN, Dreamcatcher, Oh My Girl or SONAMOO have or had (this GWSN perhaps reminds more the main concept of WJSN in this MV), and how the end result is. I find the members eye-catching enough with the small screentime each individual sequence has, just like LABOUM are when they perform live, and their group shots are nice to watch like they were KARA on their golden age and almost as proficient as GFRIEND. Also, how they use the sort of visual narrative Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, Ladies' Code and others have been using in their videos but mixed with the sort you'd see in WJSN videos. I like the result of mixing that. It also has a little bit of what LOONA's individual videos had been showing, the sound too. I hope people don't sleep in this group, because it's obvious a lot of effort has been put in both the members' training and presence. The song is catchy enough too.

So this is not what I expected at all in a good way. The song is great and the mv is really good too. I think I might stan if they keep serving quality bops :). Also to the people who don't like Miya being compared to Amber, it's not a bad thing. Being compared to Amber is an honour she has been in the industry for a long time and endured a lot of shit for her style yet still she didn't change herself she's still doing her thing there's nothing wrong with that. Eventually Miya will get a chance to showcase her character traits and people will move on. Anyways good luck to GWSN I hope they find success.

It had WJSN music video vibes with the mystical quality. It brought me back to Secret and I Wish which is still on my constant rotation. it had F(x) 4 walls vogueing choreography, with and techno sound, and a tomboy member that reminds me of Amber it had a Lovelyz b-side feel, with the cute experimental techno sound (also lovelyzs b-side are amazing) it had Loona's mystery and storyline with moon shaped puzzle pieces used to find each others identities overall I freaking Loved it
