I got into kpop because of DBSK. Then when they broke up in 2008, I wanted to quit listening to kpop but when I read somewhere saying that Cube wanted to debut a boy group consisting of 'recycled' trainees, I immediately googled them up. To my surprise, they werent 'recycled' trainees as per what Korean media called them. They were bunch of talented kids but they were in the wrong place, at the wrong time. I knew about Dujun because of his involvement with 2PM/2AM, listened to Gikwang because AJ was cool back then but people slept on him, knew Hyunseung because of BB, Junhyung was once in Xing and a powerful dancer, Yoseob, THE trainee with the golden voice. Maknae Dongwoon was the last member I got to know before BEAST was formed. I was there when everything started. I believed in them then, I still believe in them now. People said they werent going to last long because they were from a small company and they were 'recycled' trainees (I hated it when the media used that word). But boy, these kids proved them haters wrong. For me, BEAST/HIGHLIGHT is forever my ultimate group (beside DB5K). I grew up with them, most of them are the same age as me. I see them as friends, their voice and the songs are always with me. Even when Hyunseung decided to leave, I didnt even mad. I couldnt get mad. I, as a fan, let him go. I moved on. Because the rest of them moved on too. When they formed Highlight, I know they have found success. I know my friends have reached the top. And I pray for God to always bless my friends and their music. They are my friends. They were Beast. They are Highlight. And Dujun is forever my ultimate bias in the Kpop industry.

Do you know what made me stay, from being a B2uty to Light? It's because 1. They are talented 2. They will give you such bop songs 3. There is always a meaning to their song and even their fast tracks have very emo deep meaning 4. They really cared for their fans 5. Their relationship from being members have already levelled up into friendship to brotherhood 6. They are one of few groups who are good natured men and are loved by their peers 7. They know how to tell their fans they should do always do the right thing and scold them at times 8. They always tell us to take care 9. They advised us to treat them as a hobby and not someone whom our world should revolve too. Because hey, they know we have our own lives too 10. Yoon Doojoon is Highlight’s very kind and funny leader, who isn’t in this video because he has already started his military service in the summer; Yong Junhyung is the rapper and co-producer of this song (along with Taejoo, the other producer, who even has his own youtube channel to show us how did the 2 of them make some Beast and Highlight songs), Yang Yoseob is the never ageing main vocal of the group with a voice like honey, Lee Gikwang is the main dancer of the group (he has red hair in this Mv), and Son Dongwoon is the maknae with incredible visuals (he is the tall one with light brown hair) 😉♥️ So, please show them a lot of love and support before their enlistment!!! ♥️

BEAST or HIGHLIGHT, they will always have a space in my heart. Their song 12:30 was so special to me because it comforted me in my bad times. They were the first group that I knew that has the full package. Their vocals, rap and dance are all above average and it sucks to see them saying goodbye. Some new kpop fans might not even know them but for us who have stayed longer KNOWS that they are a legendary group. I really hope my boys will never dissapointed with views or charts eventhough they did not reach top this time. Being able to release album as temporary goodbye to Light is much enough to show that how much they love their fans. They didnt want to leave without bid farewell properly, and it ache me because Doojoon left too early. But I know he did well there already. My 9 years love for this group has never change. The setting gives a similar vibe to 12:30 yet im feeling the midnight vibe. JH is rapping in this style how much I miss this. And the usual combi and seobies highnote and jh rap. And one of Highlight/Beast trademark are the use of classical instruments this time predominant of violin subtle piano in the background as well as guitar strings. The chorus dance step reminds me of fiction and Goodluck formation with ribbon and 12:30 movement. It brings back so much from 9 years being their fan back when I was a highschool student who now have her business management degree and pursuing a law degree.
