The titled track ‘Why Not?’ is an uptempo electronic pop song, with a story of pursuing freedom and individualistic self. The funky and bubbly bass line reminiscent of the Midnight Festival is impressive. The key change in the song, which started with a charismatic introduction, from the chorus to the witty major, it resembles LOOΠΔ who is about to change.
‘Voice’ is an energetic retro song with a low, repetitive beat that evokes addiction. It is meant to enjoy the feelings of love and to venture together in an uncontrollable excitement.
‘Fall Again’ has a story about falling back in love with the one every time fall returns. It is a Pop R&B, a harmonious blend of sentimental vocals and rhythmic instruments by LOOΠΔ. It gives the feeling of the seasonality of autumn abundant.
‘Universe’ is a dreamy up-tempo electronic pop ballad with soft sweltering pads, ambient vocals and steady beat, adding warmth to the beat of love, attraction and temptation with the piano melody, allowing you to feel the song in its entirety.
‘Hide & Seek’ is a cool, bright, poptastic uptempo dance song, which it coolly reveals one’s mind that is not hidden. It is showing confidence to the opponent, like playing hide & seek.

Hm...remember in Butterfly one of the lines (I think by Haseul but I'm not sure) is "hurricane". In Curiosity, the line was "...like a hurricane", perhaps in reference to the Butterfly effect "a butterfly's flap on one side of the world could cause a hurricane on the other side" --> popular saying. That hurricane DEFINITELY means something...especially when you literally see a BUTTERFLY at the end!!!

Possible hints at the loonaverse I have noticed: - Reversed logo with black background. -in the first shot, the same car that appeared in so what is circling around olvia, maybe shes stuck in the loop? -Heejin's first shot looks like she is in a postapocaliptic world (maybe after so what events?) - Choerry is not only upside down, but also in a mirror. Maybe she just changed dimesions? This tells us that she still has her powers, although she deosnt have/show her odd eye. - Kim lip (who looks like she is in hi high's field) seems worried about the three white moons orbiting around her. - At 0:37 Heejin is now seen in another field with another outfit, and a meteor stikes down? Is this like in so what? Are those moon pieces? -Just after that, jinsoul is alone in a telephone cabine. Have we seen one before in the loonaverse? Who is she trying to contact? -At 0:46, Yves, Chuu (whose hair is different from the teasers and her later appearences in this mv), olivia and CHOERRY?? Her animal is the butterfly, and as we all know, the butterfly effect (one little movement of a butterfly in china can cause a hurricane in america) is in the loonaverse. So i think that is gowon, as (thnaks to 4k), we can barely see she has blue reflections in the hair, athough that might just be the lightining. - At 3:21 we see a converse (also in the moon), going backwards, we know this is not heejin (as shes the one with the white shoes). From what I can see, the girls are going backwards. These girls look like moon girls trying to reach the earth whereas in Hi High loona wanted to reach the moon. Heejin starts singing I'm a bad girl and when the clock reaches 12 Heejin appears. Maybe in this world she is the 12th member? - Olivia, Chuu, Yves and Choerry all dance together because if we count them backwards they all would be part of 1/3 unit. - Kim Lip mirrors Jin Soul in SITR as she is in this dark place and then starts floating like the beta fish. - Olivia Hye doesnt have her signature red eyes. - Yeojin reference to the apples frozen scene as she could be mirroring Yves. - Go Won with blue smoke as she could be mirroring Hyunjin and in So What? let's talk about how this most likely a new retelling, a prequel or the LOONAVERSE mobius is completely destroyed and they are back at step one but a new path. Jinsoul is the only member of OEC that shows her odd eye because by lore, she's the first person to interact with the LOONAVERSE as an odd eye member because of "ViVi's letter to hong kong". kim lip is the second person to awaken her and LipSoul awaken Choerry. Kim Lip is in the mirror dimension but how did she get there without an odd eye yet? Choerry is just doin' fruit bat stuff, just chillin'. Yeojin might actually have an odd eye, in Sweet Crazy Love the members had latent powers but couldn't fully control them until they were able to connect with each other. The car scenes with Chuu, ViVi, and Yves might represent the canon love triangle and the apples around vivi might be that she's going to learn something will shape another part of the LOONAVERSE. Chuu's scene might be her having an afterparty by herself after the Midnight Festival. Olivia has found a pack and she's the alpha, what will she do and who's the beta? The "LOONAs around the world" also come to the festival, we dance. I think the car symbolism is about how they were chasing to find each other, but now they've all gathered and they're free. I think that unit changes for the dance scenes tells us that the mystery behind Go Won, Hyunjin, and Choerry won't be ending anytime soon. Heejin and Hyunjin's scene is basically "i'll be there" but a mature classier concept, since it's in black and white could it be one of them remembering it? Thought back then Loona’s biggest issue was the mistreatment of half the members in terms of line distribution. Loona always seemed like seven members (Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu and Olivia Hye) while Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Haseul were lacking in exposure. I will defend Blockberry in terms of pre-debut projects since it was amazing. There’s no other groups that literally i stan mainly due to their solo songs along with the magnificent video production. It was top notch and best of all it looked expensive. But what baffles of the efforts of the girls not considered, at all. A simple payment to them expecially Chuu would made the situation resolved. It’s the company that forced the concept idea and i would say starting their fifth year is when they should be paid (different amounts obviously, not the same). It’s a shame the group lasted for six years only. International fans expecially has been so helpful to them, as long as they’re not toxic, expecially when they ignored the fact Chuu was eventually gonna leave.

I really think why not is the most blatantly lore-filled MV since hi high. There's so many connections and reference and so much to unpack...
