This drama made me think A LOT! Like how it would had affected him if his growing environment was different or if there wasn't any trigger or if he wasn't perceived as a monster when he was young. Things would surely be different. Psychopaths are humans too and it isn't their fault that they aren't born with emotions. Another thing is that not all psychopaths become criminals which wasn't mentioned in the drama at all and it makes me sad.

the reason was they focused on the topic of psychopath being a serial killer but yeah it would have been good if at least one was innocent but well I loved the whole concept, I never complained a single thing. If ever they had another baby with psychopath gene Secretary Choi would have made that baby have the same fate as Bareum. Remember they only monitored Bareum because Yo han was a genius so I think Choi did a clever move there. (Also I think the knot killer was also an experiment)

There aren’t psychopath that are mentioned that was innocent since it’s a show that focuses on catching psychopath that kills people. (Dr. Lee and Hong ju used Bareum to catch those psychopath ) and also Shin could be the innocent psycho 🤔 remember that his daughter showed sign so it could be???🤞

You should read the background on wiki. It telly you why the concept was like this. The writer wanted to deliver a different message and the majority couldn’t appreciate it since its “unusual” but man they missin alot. It’s damn deep and hoped for the impossible to happen after reading it. It’s the brain transplant to be precise.

@@toolate5772 i'll read what you suggested. Don't get me wrong though. I absolutely love crime-thriller dramas and that is why i watched mouse. And it was just too good. I'm glad i binge watched this drama and i appreciate the hard work of the writer. Seungi Gi's acting was phenomenal. Mouse was unlike any other crime-thriller drama. It was from Psychopath's POV so maybe that's why i couldn't stop thinking about the possibilities. The ending made me sad but i don't think it could have ended another way. And i assume this kinda reaction was what the writer was aiming for from the viewers. I doubt Shin was a psychopath. I mean he could have been pretending to have emotions but i don't really think that was the case. But it'd be interesting if some psychopath was introduced who was just leading a normal life despite having no emotions. Since the Oz organization were like "All psychopaths are criminals and will become killers and they should be killed before they are even born."

@@toolate5772 also the other ending was pretty interesting too. The mouse didn't die at the end. And Jung Ba Reum said to Bong Yi that In next life, i hope i am a normal person. So either it's resurrection or he didn't die at all. Also Han Seo Joon, at the end, said that we'll be able to get out soon. It makes us(viewers) think about all kind of possibilities. Lol. Fans have made so many theories.

This song is so sad. It is like killing Jeong Ba Reum slowly and painfully. Sometimes I really wish that I can turn back the clock and get Oh Bong Yi to forcefully drag Jeong Ba Reum along that night they escaped from Sung Yo Han. Lee Seung Gi did a REALLY GREAT JOB. He makes us scared of Jeong Ba Reum but at the same time, also feel sorry and sad for his eventual painful demise.

It's been more than 2 years, and I still can't move on from this MASTERPIECE DRAMA!!! There is no drama like this until now, the problem is for me that I like to re-watch my favorite dramas.. but I can't re-watch this drama.. All of the artists here do such a great job!! Yes, all of them, even the supporter one. My high respect especially goes to Lee Seunggi and Lee Jeehoon. If you think about it, Ba reum killed due to his neurological condition, for that shouldn’t he be in a psychiatric unit instead of jail if he gets caught, cause it’s not his fault over what kind of neurological condition due to a mutated gene he was born with.

Tragically beautiful! Honestly mouse was the best drama of 2021 and deserved so much more. It was majorly snubbed by the awarding bodies but at least Seungi got his first acting daesang at AAA (triple threat emperor!) The story of Bareum is just pure pain. Seungi gave the performance of a lifetime and I am never forgetting it!
