I don't think I've ever enjoyed an individual artist as much as I've enjoyed the music of the group they came from, but promoting new groups while letting established groups flounder until members are forced to go solo is how the Kpop world works. It's the one and only thing that Western pop labels do better -- they don't abandon their talent until the fans are tired of them. Okay, two things: They pay better. It's infuriating when you read about members of top Kpop acts not being able to pay their bills.
