As a gay asian man, I am so appreciative that OnlyOneOf is giving us this type of representation. This, as well as the other MVs, were done so artistically and respectively. I'm also overjoyed to see HAPPY experiences and pursuits of love portrayed for our community.

"We don't know their sexual preference and we don't need to know." Preach gurl! The simple fact that artists have chosen to go in this direction is to be celebrated. Not to mention all the people behind the scenes supporting their creative vision. I'm so excited to see what the rest of the members do!

the behind the scenes of the mvs are even softer they portray these gay stories so naturally and even the behind the scenes when they act they don't cringe at all because there has been some like gay hinting things in some kpop mvs for like fan serves and usually the idols cringe and make fun of it but OOO are so respectful and natural i just love them also they just finished a reality kind of show on their channel called "mystery vacance" it is a trip they took for a few days with some fun missions its really fun and only has a few episodes so its not super long i highly recommend you watching it

As a Kpop fan for more than 10 years and also a gay man, I'm so glad that we can FINALLY get some more than decent representation of queer relationships in Kpop, even though the community is quite hateful towards us, it's no secret. They can't even understand our jokes about "owning" certain groups/videos/songs cuz then they will tell us that we're assuming sexualities (which is just as wrong as assuming every Kpop idol is straight lmao). But anyway, thank you guys for another wholesome and entertaining reaction! I also would like to know any asian or korean queer man's opinion on them and if anyone of them has ever seen OOO live or fully support them 💞🤗

Thanks to OnlyOneOf, I feel heard and noticed. I'm asexual and aromantic person; and I always felt more welcome in lgbt society. Now I'm feeling that for this group it doesn't matter who I am. They just want to deliver one message: we should be ourselves. And even if theirs MVs are focused about male-male love, still I am happy. Happy and free. Because, finally, someone did something for queer society - firstly it was BL, GL, and who knows, maybe in the future we'll see more music videos or movies, series about people like me: aro/ace. I was never expected that some group in Korea engages in this theme and concept for so long time. I love them. OnlyOneOf is doing an amazing job - I respect them so much. These guys are so real, you know what I mean? So kind, so precious, so human. It's really nice to see LGBTQ+ people are themselves, happy and normal in these music videos. These songs representative for me brighter tomorrow. Stan OnlyOneOf for a better world 💚 (it's really late, so I'm going to sleep cause, yeah, since morning I should write my bachelor degree, so good night!)

Onlyoneof and A.C.E are the only ones I see making a conscious effort to bring forth representation. With ooo its their whole concept which is wonderfully done. With A.C.E its things like doing soundtracks to BL series and even starring in one (Jun).

Especially since it’s looking like we might not get Rie’s solo until October?? Since they just had a Japanese comeback the other day (highly rec btw!!), plus today’s Chuseok, and they’re still wrapping up the promotions for Junji’s. But I would be THRILLED to be proven a clown 😂

I love your reaction and I agree with what you said. When they did libidO many people saw it as just fanservice for their straight fangirls, but it was way more than that. They've garnered a huge queer following and I'm so thankful for their continuous support of their LGBT+ fans. The "be" series took it to the next level when it comes to representation, and their concerts are full of pride flags that the members take and wrap themselves in. The cutest thing was when a queer couple had their proposal during one of their concerts and the members were super supportive 🥹 BTW, you guys mentioned we need a female version, so may I suggest Moonbyul's Shutdown? You need to watch the MV, read the lyrics and also watch Moonbyul explaining the concept, it's amazing

In my opinion,Rie is scared of being public about their relationship although they love each other. All their happy scenes are just them in private. In the last scene they're surrounded by people and Rie looks very stiff and uncomfortable, but Junji looks a lot more relaxed. About the phone booth, yoojung said it is symbolises a worldview but didnt explain more.It might mean feeling a safe zone can hiding from the world, and with that thought looking at the scene, when Junji knocks, Rie almost looks sheepish look like he got caught falling into bad habits or something. so it might be that Rie is trying to be more open but having a hard time with it.But in the last scene Junji want to kiss Rie and Rie agree with it. Combine with the lyric, can I ruin you?I’ll just go where my hands take me.It may means Junji will take Rie to a new world(come out from Rie's safe zone)and help him ccept himself.

Definitely on board with continuous onlyoneof content! For be mine they also had a mv reaction btw which would be fun to check out alongside the behinds! Wookjin wrote the lyrics with 2 other people and junji composed the song with a few others aswel and I think that really made it such a good song for junji cause I LOVEE how they played with and showcased his vocals in this song. As a lesbian (u may have read my comment on the mv itself lol) it was just another beautiful affirmation from onlyoneof that the likes of us are valid and deserve stories too. As I’ve loved them since debut I never even IMAGINED this could be real. While they did allude to queer media since 2020, had their reputation as a group with “gender neutral charms” and had more intimate homoerotic choreography. Their lyrics could be quite heteronormative and bcs the music was the most I engaged with for a while I was like, yeah okay they’re my token straight group its all good. So then imagine my surprise but also lack of it when instinct part 1 comes out and then my bigger surprise that every song since has become largely gender neutral especially when written by members of the group themselves. (Even to the point that wookjin will go out of his way to rewrite lyrics in his covers to be gender neutral too). People try to give them slack for suddenly jumping on the train but I can’t even stress how gradual and welcome this evolution of OnlyOneOf’s work has been. (There’s also something to be said about OnlyOneOf’s “straight” songs usually detailing doomed and tragic relationships or general negative traits, while their queer content has mostly been positive and if not fully happy, positively wishful. Though I DEFINITELY wouldn’t mind them diving into some darker themes considering they do them so well and after all sometimes queer people can be assholes too) TLDR; I just really do appreciate them for all they do. Also here’s s guide I recommend: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3rCc4N5lphlodk

Their behind-the-scenes and varieties are always funny and precious, which makes you appreciate their personalities and artistry more. Thank you for considering making more OOO content. Honestly I love ooo because they make bomb music. I am a lesbian and it would be an easy explanation for me to go like 'i like representation' and stuff, and while I celebrate people feeling seen (like it literally makes me so happy to see queer people collectively share their stories in the comment sections of ooo mvs, it makes my heart full with love) that's not what I am primarily here for. I love Holland with my whole heart, but I don't like his music, hence I don't listen to him even though he is as far to representation in K-pop as we can get. I came for the music and in the end, the music is what makes me stay. Everything ooo do is authentic in its own way, and you can feel that if you listen to or watch any of their content. I love authenticity, and I love seeing people actually decide for themselves which route they want to go. So yes, I celebrate ooo choosing to represent queer people, because it's their decision and they are great artists which I love to the moon and back, and I respect all of their decisions. But it's just something about them that is different to other K-pop groups. I think some of it is because first of all, their label doesn't shy away, but also theyre grown people and debuted as more or less grown people, they make decisions independently. And I also think it's pretty lit how they obv do some of their things for the 'shock effect' but they never do things cheaply or 'just for representation'. Also imo it does not matter what their sexual orientation is at all. They and their team are artists and express themselves freely, and if they decide to do a high quality queer production then that is to be respected. I mean if you consider how underrated ooo is, they're sadly hated a lot because people can't accept that people can represent queer people even if they didn't publicly announce their sexuality, which is probably straight for most members. I mean first ooo are artists, the queer representation part comes second. They make fiction, and they make it good, that's why I love them.

Everytime I get a notification for one of y'all's reactions I always get so hyped!! ❤❤ Be mine is literally a masterpiece, as a bisexual person myself I have never seen such pure lovey dovey gayness portrayed so wonderfully. Literally, everytime it pops into my playlist I squeal!!! It's so refreshing to see same-sex relationships be portrayed in the same way as heterosexual relationships because in the end the greatest goal is for homosexuality to be just as normal as heterosexuality. Anyways, in conclusion I'm in love and I am painfully waiting for Rie's MV to come out! 😅

I love what OnlyOneOf is doing, this type of representation really matters, and also i was reminded when you were talking about we just needing a female counterpart i fell like Moonbyul's "Shutdown" is like a step in that direction, is not overtly lgbtq+ but the lyrics and some of the video framing is very much hinting at that (sorry if my words are a little confusing, english is not my first language uwu) and also the song is fireeee, so I would love to know what you girls think about that video, cause I feel that in girl groups there's always sometimes a little bit of performative lesbianism that I feel is directed to the male gaze, but I feel what Moonbyul did with her song and MV is for the queers, and yeah, been loving your content, I love seeing you guys react, found you trough the Seventeen reactions and been watching a lot of your countent, keep up the amazing work!
