sawtowne i love this song so much it makes me want to literally cry. i'm going to miku expo april 8th and i actually didn't like this song when it came out. i didn't think it screamed "MIKU EXPO." but, after listening again, and again, and again, i suddenly found myself obsessed with the song. it brings me so much happiness and comfort and it makes me so happy to know that there are these successful vocaloid producers from outside of japan. i don't know what made me not like it at the start, but whatever it was, i completely forgot. all i see is my new favorite vocaloid song.

This is probably the oddest thing to say about such an uplifting song but I’ve had this on my playlist for months and have never once paid attention to the lyrics past the miku miku beam section. However, I decided to sit and watch the video for the first time and I just completely burst into sobs at the lyrics. I work in healthcare and Miku’s description of smiles being enough and being willing to dress up as a nurse and cure people feels just like my experience. I’m in aged and disability care (however most of my clients are more aged care based) and my experience with so many of them is just making them smile by helping them for the short time in with them each week or fortnight. This feels like a modern, almost more uplifting version of Love Coloured Ward in some way for me where the focus isn’t on one specific patient on Miku but instead on Miku herself. I’ve really gained a deeper appreciation for the song and it’s really touched my heart. Thank you Sawtowne!!!

People were getting bearings, and not everyone knows the assignment, but if youve seen the San Jose footage of Magical Cure Love Shot which was like a day or two ago iirc? People were chanting/cheering along with the song. You can't necessarily fault the first set of the concerts to not catch by since they don't even know the song list when it first started. You add the extra factor that a good chunk of the audience _are new Miku Fans, or at the very least it's their first concert, OR they were people just curious to experience what a "Vocaloid Concert" is_ It's why Vancouver was so vital for the rest of the expo's to know what the song list so people can find out how to go w/ it, and as history shows, yeah later shows were having audience engagement be a loooot better than the first batch of the expos.

for real! I usually have a hard time telling what Miku's saying when she sings in English, but almost every line here is articulated extremely well with good pronunciation. I haven't heard Miku's English sound this good since Anamanaguchi and that was a slower song, with fewer words, that was easier to parse in general. I think this might be the best I've ever heard her English. Hats off to SAW for this one; it's simply peak English Vocaloid artistry.

Not sure if I'm the only one who noticed this (or if I'm just reading too much into the song) but I LOVE how super upbeat and magical this song is when the message im getting from it is "i'll take all the hits for you so you won't be upset", a very self-sacrifical person focused on making others happy despite getting injured from it. Way to hide such a sad undertone behind such a happy magical song, I applaud

Actually it isn't sad at all. If you listen to the lyrics it's actually about Miku being really awesome and fighting all the evil of the world so you can be happy. Not really sure where you got such a dour message. It's all good though, Miku will be there soon to help you feel better.

personal headcanon/interpretation: the "miku is a magical healer making everyone happy" thing and how she doesn't mind the constant turmoil if it makes "you" smile is actually a metaphor about how many people use her to create unhappy songs that sometimes reflect their own struggles, and this is essentially her saying to them "hey! i don't mind if you put me through traumatic stuff if it means you get to live another day and i will always be there for you if you need me ^^"
