A lot of people were saying that this song is "not that great" but if you're a Moomoo, this is actually EVERYTHING we ever wanted. It just makes us so happy. People outside the fandom don't get this because they're so used hearing songs from their idols that is always hard-hitting, top-of-the-charts worthy. THE BEST album was not even supposed to have new songs but they just have to add 2... just because they can. Funny how the songs that will blow your brains out are actually on the rest of the tracks... ALL 21 of them. Like MMM intentionally hid it for MooMoos to explore. Mumumumuch for me is that song that celebrates MMM finally letting loose after grinding, blood sweat & tears for 7 years without stopping.

If we pay close attention to the lyrics of the 2 new songs, it is smothering us with love & reassureance that they are in a happy place. Mumumumuch has a fairy tale theme that goes "and they lived happily ever after" (the other song is Happier Than Ever). The timing of this release is also intentional as it came after the announcement of Wheein joining another label. Moomoos became anxious of what will happen to Mamamoo. After the announcement, Mumumumuch was released that shows OT4 in their natural habitat. In the bts of filming, they are carefree & directing the mv themselves. Except for the choreo, everything else was candid. It's the freedom & the intention for me that makes this mv soooo special. They're not in it for the charts, they are aiming for moomoos' hearts.

People saying Mamamoo lost their charm and this makes no sense to me. They say this because they did not like this and the last comeback. First of all WAW was a ballad album and obviously not pop. They were showing how good their vocals were and it was supposed tk to dramatic, emotional because it's their 7th year anniversary. The album was perfect in that sense. This album is full of their best tracks, sang buy them again in a very concert way which is very refreshing. Their title and new track is soft, cute and fun. They tried another style with this song and obviously not everyone will like it but this song is for the FANS, for us MOOMOOS. Not everybody will love it. But this does not mean they lost their charm. I feel like people who only listened to HIP come here and just nag about Mamamoo not being cool anymore. They always try distinc styles. That's their thing.
