After watching it again I finally realize the message which I find very accurate and is a fact SO here is the meaning of the MV: 1: The old man and lady are technically the "companies" find these idols. For those of you who don't know there is a weight limit these companies put on idols, especially the girls. They have to maintain their waistline and arm fat and all that and are frequently weighed and measured. 2. These companies use idols as their main source of money right? Since they are music companies. Hence the diamonds. 3 THE SEXY OUTFITS is mainly because the company is trying to make money through the idols whether it be them singing, dancing or shaking their junk at the camera the companies just want money hence its like giving out the girls who bring back the gems kinda if you get what i mean. 4. The girls are eating bc Remember at 3:10 this guy on a balancing scale weighted macron and gems. The gems overweighed the macron symbolizing That the company value the income more than if their idols are healthy or eating right. I finally Understood the message and yea. I don't know why people worry about the concept so much. Concepts are just a marketing technique to grab the audiences attention with the visuals. Even though i am a diehard fan, If I had to say one thing i didn't like about kpop, it would be that the mv is released simultaneously (or even before) the album release. This makes the people ONLY focus on the given concept, and us as an audience can't take the music, enjoy it, and also INTERPRET it so that we can imagine, and make the song out to be anything we would want. I could have seen this song as a party track personally, but at the end of the day, you can't SEE the music. So, why should it bother you what's in the MV, or what the company is throwing at you. +Dustin Langewand I believe Rainbow Blaxx was created to try a new direction to get the main unit, Rainbow, popular. The DSP CEO wanted to try a sexy concept (this music video was made before it got really popular) and so they put the sexiest members of Rainbow into one group (since they all wouldn't have been able to pull it off). Unfortunately this was dropped after Girl's Day was dominating the charts with Something and AOA grabbed attention with the provocative 'Miniskirt' a week prior to this. So those 2 groups grabbed all the attention from RB. Cha Cha did alright on the charts and they got a lot of coverage, but they've could have been more popular had they released this before AOA.

Honestly, to me, the whole video is about the whole dieting and eating restrictions idols, models, women, or whomever are put on. The whole diamonds vs. sweets is essentially the same thing as food vs. beauty (and over what is more important). I also had this long, well thought out paragraph talking about the slut shaming and super awesome (super not) labeling/stereotyping going on in the comments, but then I realized it's a waste of time and it's going to keep happening no matter what haha. In the video, the girls represent idols, who are in a constant struggle with maintaining their "flawless figures" to please the company and fans, represented by the older woman who is measuring and consantly watching them to make sure they are in shape. The sweets represent the girls' desires for eating anything and everything they want, but cannot have for the sake of maintaining their figure. The diamonds represent beauty and the figure they wish to maintain for the happiness of others. The girls decide that they no longer care about what others want from them, so they eat all the sweets they wish, thus giving up beauty or the diamonds, that is why they are spitting them out. It can be seen that all of the people around them are happy with just beauty, or the diamonds, but the girls no longer are, indulging themselves with all the sweets they wish to have.

I don't understand the dislikes, seriously, but most of the dislikers probably don't know Rainbow as a whole. If it's being sexual, then grow up, plus their not the only group who do this concept or seem "sexual". Mainly cause Rainbow is underrated so they get the hate, but honestly I see other groups who are very popular and speak of something deeper, and all I see others say, "SLAY!", "QUEEN/S", and ect. Trust me, there are adult idols, lmao. I don't even think this song is bad or the choreography. I actually love the choreography and if you're going to call it "slutty", go look up "slutty". Lets not forget about male idols too, you hypocrites, lmao. Anyways, I love their clothes in this song. The vintage though, I need 'em, lmao. I wish DSP can give us more though but at least they didn't go cheap on them because the quality and color of this video is good. c:
