I wonder how much exposure Reol gets in Japan. Are her clips broadcast on TV and such ? I think she would really deserve it.

Martin Douge Is she affiliated with any major label ?

Rizu Ya I don't think so, when I asked my girlfriend about what utaite means, she told me they were independent singer. And Reol is an utaite. If she indeed gets little exposure, then that would probably explain why.

Martin Douge Sigma peaked at #8 on the weekly Oricon chart, so she (or they at that point) must have a solid fan base in Japan

Sora Cookie I suppose so. That's good to hear.

I lived in Japan for awhile fairly recently, and while I love reol, she sadly isnt super big there. I had to buy her cd's online as I never saw them in stores. Also, never really heard any mention of her, no one ever knew who she was; she didnt even have music in any major rhythm games, which is where a lot of small artists get their start. She seems to be more of an internet celebrity. Her music is incredible and I hope sometime she can manage to find her foothold on the mainstream, as she definitely deserves it and can do it.

I don't understand why REOL's music videos is not so popular than it should be their music video is so good they deserve more support/views
私は日本語をうまく話せませんが、私は彼女の音楽とミュージックビデオをすべて愛しています。 私はこのコメントに何か間違いがあても残念です 😅. I'm still learning so I probably messed up while typing that 😅. I was pretty much just saying that I love her music and music videos
There's no cure or treatment, it's time for suicide i guess

@Jay Bee I didn't hear any auto tune. She has a naturally nice voice

@@wintertoastie she does use autotune sometime but her real voice is actually really good You could see it at her live performance

@@ameerhazim9495 I never noticed, in this song anyway. But in a few others I have sensed a bit of auto tune. But thank you for the enlightenment

@@wintertoastie Everyone uses autotune, but yes she has a wonderful natural voice. I'm no expert on autotune, but the chances there's autotune in this song are incredibly high. I have seen live performances, and her voice is amazing! But like a lot of idols, it doesn't sound exactly like the og song.
A whole bop I’m a year late but someone plz recommend more jpop songs like this 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Basically, anything by REOL or Aimer imo is a good start, if you can branch off into other genres, Hiroyuki Sawano's vocal works and FELT have really good stuff.

Mafumafu, Soraru, Wataru Urata all have good songs and they are also utaites like Reol.
