dontstresstoomuch I don't know whose sunbaes you have in mind, but Up10tion's sunbaes are very talented. But I also see a bit of your point. The level of dancing/choreo nowadays is way higher than how it was in 2007 per example. When I look back at 2PM's choreo or DBSK in the old days, it's laughable indeed. But no way that the kids nowadays are more talented. The rookies have a certain field in which they specialize like rap or dance, but then they cannot sing. Back in the day everybody in the band could sing and harmonize AND was good looking; dancing and rap were only secondary skills. And about the government's help; I think you have the wrong idea about the role of Kpop in Korean society. Most Kpop events are funded by private enterprises even; on very few occasions are concerts funded by governmental organisations. The Korean government boasts only about K-dramas and movies. Kpop is widely seen as past time for school kids. It doesn't have the status that foreigners think it has in Korea.

갑자기 프듀보다가 업텝션에서 젤좋아하던 우신이가 나와서 위험해를 즐겨들었던게 떠올라 다시 한번 듣고싶어서 들으러왔습니다.ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 우신이 프듀나와서 혹시나 새로운 댓글이 올라왔나해서 댓글을 보고있는데 제가 찾아본봐론 없는것 같아 슬프네요 ㅠㅠㅠ 업텐션 우신과 업텐션 노래를 즐겨듣고 좋아하던 한 팬이었던 사람으로서 답답해서 이렇게 댓글을 남겨봅니다. 대중들이나 네티즌분들은 소문과 이 사람이 어떤 연예인에게 나쁜 짓을 했다더라~같은 뭐 이런 소문과 찌라시를 아주 좋아하죠. 정작 본인은 하지않았는데 본인이 아니라고해도 그런 누명이나 소문이나면 연예계에서 활동하기 어려워지는것은 여러분도 당연히 아시겠죠. 근데 잘 생각해보세요. 어떤 ㅁㅊ놈이 방송중에 카메라찍히고 있고 스태프도 다 있는앞에서 연예계에서 매장당할게 뻔한데 그런짓을 하겠습니까? 게다가 한참 잘나가고있고 뜨려고 하는와중에 (그 일 당시)데뷔2년밖에 안된 아이돌이 간댕이가 부어서 그런 일을 버리겠습니까? 그런 일을 하면 멤버와 소속사뿐만아니라 가장 본인한테 타격이 클것을 본인이 제일 잘 알텐데말이죠? 정작 해명글을 올려도 영상을 확대하여 접촉이있었다. 이게 어떻게 접촉을 안했다고 할수있냐며 믿어주지않았죠. 얼마나 악플과 비난이 심했길래 전문기관에까지 부탁해서 영상 그림자까지 분석을 했겠습니까? 이미 분석결과 아니라고 증명도했고 우신이가 그런사람도 아니고 괜히 제가 이얘기를 꺼내서 이미지에 타격을 주는게 아닌가 걱정도 되지만 너무 답답하고 아니라고 우신이가 해명을 했는데도 불구하고 믿어주지않고 연예인이라는 이유로 아니라고해도 믿어주지않는 분들에게 욕을할수도 없고 얼마나 답답했겠습니까?본인은 아니라고 생각하지 마시고 잘생각해보세요. 사람 하나하나 모든 댓글이 다 연예인에겐 상처가되고 스트레스가되어 병으로오고 최악의상황으론 자살까지 이어집니다. 당신들은 연예인이니까 욕먹는게 당연하지 라고 생각할지 모르겠지만, 왜 연예인이라는 이유로 욕을 먹어야하는거죠? 끼,댄스,노래,연기등을 죽도록 열심히 연습해 꿈을이루기위해 사람들에게 즐거움을 선사하기위해 당신들의 삶의 조금이나마의 행복을주기위해 그런 멋진일을 하는 분한테 당신들은 얼마나 열심히 살았기에 무슨 자격으로 그런 말을 함부로 할수있는건가요? 겉으로는 화려해보이기만하고 모든것을 누리고있는것같지만 그만큼 사실 엄청 매일매일 일때문에 바쁘고 데뷔를하고나서도 노력하고있고 일반인들처럼 자유도없는 그런 일이라는걸 모두들 잘 알고게실거라고 생각합니다. 연예인들이 당신들에게 도대체 무슨 잘못을 했기에 그렇게 비난을 하시는거죠? 정작 당신이 그 연예인이 된다면 그 수많은 질타와비난을 버티며 살수있겠습니까? 제발 인터넷이라고 얼굴안보인다고 아무짓이나 다해도된다고 생각하시지마시고 본인들에 말에 다시한번 깊게 생각하시고 신중하게 댓글등을 달아주셨으면 좋겠습니다. 마지막으로 우신이 진짜진짜 많이 응원하고있어! 꽃길만 걷자! 우신아 힘내 화이팅!!! ㅎㅎㅎ

UP10TION were too good for their time. That’s the only logical explanation for why they didn’t blow up because for all the groups I know of that debuted really early and aren’t popular now, they have the most potential and it hurts me the most to know that they didn’t get recognition for their amazing work. And I stan day6 so i know what it feels like to stan a group that doesn’t get their talent recognized.
