A historic F1 race (late 60's - early 80's cars) a little earlier that day was in fact red flagged for rain.

Why are you bringing up F1? Do you think it’s “in” with this niche side of the car community? It isn’t if that’s what you’re after. It’s like the rest of the world’s NASCAR It is the 2nd trashiest form of Motorsport in history, after NASCAR itself. The engines for decades were in audible, the crowds are absolute snobs and so it the fanbase, and it’s a poor representation of Motorsport all together. Cars like the F2004 or W11 are amazing and very impressive but other than that they are all so unserious in the worst way.
