I didnt know much about Maxime. From agad's channel I came to know he always try to plays Scicilian Naijdrof against e4 and Grunfeld against d4. But after watching this video he is a gem in chess as well as real life and especially "COMEBACK". Man what a comeback that is! He made it looks so simple. Surely his calmness after the defeats in first day is a lesson to everyone.

21:44 Qh1+ (queen to h1 check) is winning because the only legal move is Ke2 (King to e2) because the last bishop move to h4 prevents King to f2. Therefore after Ke2 (only move), MVL just makes the move Nf4+ (knight to f4 check) cheking the king and winning the queen who is also attacked. (no pieces can capture the knight)

I have noticed a few times that Kasparov tends to mention the psychology of a player being important. Bobby Fischer on the other hand said that psychology doesn't matter at all in chess, but Bobby Fischer also considered himself to be the world champion for life after beating Boris Spassky in 1972 and wouldn't defend his title, and in retrospect, Bobby's psychological ailments killed his chess career at the height of Bobby's performance. What computers teach us is that chess isn't a psychological game, but what Bobby taught us is that humans will never be like computers and produce the same perfect outcome every time. Even magnus can't do that.
