I think he was blacklisted by Vince after he was hired by AEW when they first started, because after that he had basically no WWE interviews for a couple of years, and after Vince "retired" he started having them again. Could all be coincidence I suppose, but it definitely seems like something Vince would do.

If there's anyone that could replace Heyman, it would be MVP. Though why they've wasted his talents on Omos so long is beyond me. He was much better having a stable like the Hurt Business. I always saw him as the manager having a modern day family kind of like Heenan. Maybe something like an MVP agency where he had a whole group of the best new wrestlers helping them learn and get to the next level. But I'm still hoping we eventually get that back and forth promo from Heyman and MVP lol 🤣
