Garnett really played like a wing in Minnesota. Handling the ball, pulling up for jumpers, and making plays. Averaging 5.7apg as a big in the early 2000s is no small deal

@@attattebaioHe was not better than KG in 2003, LOL. KG led the Twolves in 5 major stats averages that season and was runner up in MVP that year. CWebb was better than KG in 1999,2001 & 2002 during their prime years tho.

Such a DOPE matchup. Prime KG was a BEAST 😤 2000s NBA was loaded with PFs, especially in the uber tough Western Conference 🏀💯

@@georgestamatakis697 yes because of a franchise that is known for its poor Management. Same goes for Damian lillard. KG in TDs place would Tell a whole other Story. Only got cassell and sprewell and completely exploded to the conference finals. As an individual itself KG was a beast and thats fact for sure.

@@nacikaya8180 your opinion isn't facts. He wasn't a leader, he wasn't an offensive threat and he failed recruiting others to come and play for the timberwolves. Excuses are easy to make.

I miss these head to head matchups between Webber and Kevin Garnett. In their primes no one could stop either player. Webber had great statistics every single season and the Big Ticket KG could do it all. His post game, jump shooting, and trips to the free throw line made him very exciting to watch. It's crazy because Chris went like 14-25 fg's and Garnett went like 15-27 fg's. (field goals) Altogether this matchup between Timberwolves and Kings were so awesome in the early 2000's. And the best part is majority of their games were always played on the ESPN Broadcasting Network Channel. I love the Kings and like the T Wolves. Good all around clips of these highlights.

If only Webber could stay healthy. Shoulder injury at Washington, then the knee in Sac. Even in this game he had the bad ankle and was able to come up with some big plays on both ends to win this game. I think he'd be more at the forefront of people's minds when talking about the greatest PF if he'd stayed healthy. Rather than the after thought that so many consider him to be. May have helped if he hadn't been cheated out of a championship in 2002.

Garnett really had an advantage on the Kings. I know C Webb missed quite a few towards the beginning but once he found his shooting rhythm no one had answers for him. The best part of Garnett and Webbers game is their defense. It is always challenging because the two of them give so much help for their own teams. As star power forwards KG, Webber, and Duncan were the top 3. Enjoy these highlights everybody. The gift we all receive is a battle of true forwards. Bobby Jackson and Christie brought so much to Sacramento too. The Timberwolves had Gill before they signed Sprewell a year after. Got to like the addition of Keon Clark and Jim Jackson for Kings as well.
