Taylor Reese catcher is the hardest, most active, hottest, and one of the most important positions on the field. Between the facts of her being hot, sweaty, and tired, AND THEN having a huge facemask on with a 150 lb. batter standing in front of you, it by far wasn’t the worst throw that I’ve seen

I play 3rd on my softball team. So a lot of times I may make a bad throw to 1st and they get SOO close to catching it. I may shake my head but it’s always being upset with myself because i know everyone makes mistakes. If I make a bad play, I always take the blame. They are really good! No everyone is going to be perfect, and I don’t think you were trying to say that she wasn’t good. I’m just throwing that out there because a lot of people in the comments are saying they messed up a lot. Yes, they made quite a bit of mistakes, but I get it. I get so nervous before a game. I literally start shaking and I have an anxiety attack. Last game I played I took outfield instead of 3rd because I felt so much pressure on me and couldn’t even control myself. Maybe they were just nervous. I make bad plays when I’m nervous!

I think they did pretty good even though they had a lot of errors they kept playing. Not the best game but they did their best. Everyone has bad days and if can eat them up in the game. The only thing that I thought wasn’t good was their reaction when a teammate made a mistake.

+juju stevens Actually, you can't. If you hit the ball and your foot is out of the box, you're called out. Even with slapping. I myself am a switch hitter, meaning i hit right and left. So I do slap occasionally. You still cannot be out of the box. Slappers stand all the way back in the box and kind of have a running head start but still cannot leave the box if the ball is to be hit. Although, some umpires don't call it.

The purple teams Catcher showed bad sportsmanship and need to accept people make mistakes because she made several. Was great seeing the more and more girls getting involved in sport and well done to both team for a good game! I think they need to work more on mechanics and just working on the basics catching fielding and stuff like that
