Dragunov is such an underrated Sniper. Has 10 bullets in a mag, Mediocre recoil and doesn't need Stopping power so Juggernaut or UAV jammer can be used.

TheDragVeteran I love it too, but the M21 kinds makes it obsolete. It can be fired faster with less recoil. If you were against a guy with an M21, you better aim for the head, or somehow land 2 shots before they do.

The M40A3 handles so much better than the .50 cal to me, plus the ACOG bonus makes it so easy to use against non jugs that it's by far my favorite

Jarif Ahmed not in hardcore mode or if you are facing other snipers who head peak half the time so headshots are the only option and therefore stopping power would be obsolete. Just like m40a3 is useless if they use jug. So it's all back and forth like chess nothing is obsolete. Except Uav jammer and an unscilenced wep lmfao

We've known the Barrett was the general best sniper in the game since 2007. I liked the Remington, but I'm gonna have to try the M40 and see if I can adjust to that one well enough

Do the snipers in this game have varying ads speeds? Like in bo2 the ballista ads faster than the dsr. does the m40 ads faster than the Barrett, or are they statistically identical?

The M21 was my favorite back in the day. I could get headshots off really well and if I missed or hit them in the chest I could just fire again just as quickly. However, the years away have not been kind to me and I have lost a bit of my touch...

I'd just like to mention that there is one draw back to the Barrett you did not mention. Because of its high recoil I would not recommend it for long range sniping, especially in S&D. If your playing pipeline or overgrown for example the exaggerated recoil could mean you miss a follow up shot and an enemy gets away losing the game for you and your team.

Honestly for nostalgic feel the M40A3 is best but stats wise it's got to be either the R700 or 50 Cal for normal play but Dragonauv or M21 for hardcore. Great videos man keep it up!

MW3 had six snipers, although that's not really today's cods. Counting supply drop weapons I think BO3 has six. I barely played it enough to be fifth prestige so I couldn't say.

R700 is my go-to but I use the Barrett more often. Not a huge fan of the M40A3 but I practice with it so when I play quicker players I can keep up.

Here's my Theory. The M40A3 is using 308 ammo, but the R700 is probably a long action model chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. The R700 in 300 Win Mag is also reduced to 4 rounds in its magazine because of the case size.

My ratings and why. Feel free to give your opinion. 1. Barrett .50 - I love how it looks, sounds, and feels. Just that BOOM! 2. M40a3 - Has a nice feel and is the go to classic. 3. R700 - Feels similar to the m40a3 and doesn't look to bad. 4. M21 - Feels nice and looks nice. You can pop off 2 shots very quickly without recoil. 5. Dragunov - Looks the worst and feels the most clunky. P.S. I could easily swap 3 and 4, just couldn't make up my mind due to not playing cod 4 in forever.

I don't get why most quickscopers, snipers, and even trickshotters pick the M40 over the R700. If you have more weapon sway, no weird quirks with the ACOG, and 1 less bullet in the magazine, it takes more skill to get a kill, right?
