I only use UAV and Counter UAV as Support killstreaks. After 4 kills, you get your UAV. After your 5th kill, you get Counter UAV NO 3rd Support killstreak selected. :D What this means is that it cycles back down to zero again, where you can thus begin building back up to another UAV, followed shortly by yet another Counter UAV! You can also substitute Counter UAV with Ballistic Vest, allowing your team to be rapidly buffed up with multiple vests. :D Remember... NO THIRD Support Killstreak needed. ;D

Even better is running a stinger with that. Enemy calls in a strafe run, you shoot it down and pull out a UAV and CUAV. It's hilarious how many UAV/CUAVs you can pull with an LMG, the Stinger, and Blind Eye Pro. I think I pulled 5 of each one time... in TDM. XD

Honestly, the strike package thing was one of the best things about MW3. Especially the support package. Specialist was good, but a *bit* overpowered. Selecting a handful of perks total (say, 6 max), would be a well-balanced version, but... *shrug*

start up with recon and hardline pro and flash bangs with this the assist you will get will accelerate you into high tier very fast and on dome, both flash bangs will cover half the map; marking everyone for your team a few re-spawns later and you have your recon drone faster then the enemy can get into the 9 kill streak area, usually

When I go support, I go all in on supporting my team. My class is: Whatever primary I feel like Stinger secondary Recon Pro Hardline Pro Sitrep Pro UAV Recon Drone Advanced UAV Recon Pro and the Recon Drone ensures me a LOT of assists which translate to points towards the next reward with Harline Pro. Trust me, this class is a game changer.

I play moderately large rewards. I use Recon Drone, Advanced UAV and the EMP. I used to use the Remote Sentry, Stealth Bomber and Escort Osprey, but the Remote Sentry needs a good placement and my control. Stealth Bombers might be lethal, but I don't really hit Triples or Multis with it, and I think the Bomber was made for Triples and Multis. The Escort Osprey was essentially an Osprey Gunner that you can't use, and I rarely ever get it, and when I do I don't get all four care packages. On the other hand though, the Recon Drone and the AUAV work perfectly together, and the EMP is a pretty good killstreak and it's very rewarding when enemies have AGMs and AC130s and Cobras and AH-6s in the air.

Thank you so much for telling the truth about Support. So many people say that Support ruins the game and I always say that it's assholes camping in corners and not playing the objective that ruins the game. I used to run low killstreaks in Black Ops so that I could best help my team in Dom. Now I can play the objective even harder and still help out.

hey Drift0r, in my opinion the best small reward setup is UAV and CUAV only because you can constantly pump those two out. This setup means the SAM turret would lose half its usefulness because the constant CUAVs would counter the enemy's UAVs and the SAM turret's only advantage would be shooting down enemy CUAVs. UAV and CUAV combined with Hardline Pro is very lethal because getting your streaks would be too easy with all the ways to get them (ie. kills, 2 assists, caps, destroying equipment)

some thing you might miss, is that C-UAV and EMP push people to run assassin, since people notice not having it. these people then dont show up on your minimap on your UAV's. this is one of the main reasons I like ballistic vests over C-UAV and recon drone over EMP

Capturing flags is a good thing for support players to do, as well as having a stinger as a secondary to take out air support on a few classes. Everyone knows that flag captures and destroying air support counts towards your pointstreak, but it can be underestimated. I played 2 games in a row where I got to an escort airdrop with SIX kills. All the other points for my streak were from shooting stuff down and a handful of flag captures.

I find that support streaks make the game more fun. Of course assault ones are more fun to use if you get them, but I don't have as much fun when running assault because I play very conservatively, I'm constantly worrying about losing my killstreak and I tend to panic camp a bit. I still run assault every now and then when I feel like it, but when I run support I end up having more fun because not worrying about dying really takes the pressure off.

I do that sometimes. It may not feel like it does much but I've been on the other end of UAV and CUAV spam a few times and it's very annoying, it really does make a difference. Especially on the less open maps where you can't always see them to shoot them down.

The other key thing with support is to not change classes while building up points. When I first started, I ran mostly support but my anti-air class was specialist. Anti-air launchers go well with the support class and objective.

Assassin pro does not entirely counter the CUAV. It partial counters. They keep their usual radar effects, BUT if the enemy team gets a UAV the assassin still won't benefit from it. Recon drone is strong enough that you can trade out a smaller streak for it, especially if you're the kind of player that can get 2 recon drones/match. I usually go UAV/CUAV/Recon or if lots of assassins vests/SAM/recon. If you get through 2 iterations, it's very powerful and a good contribution.

If you use that setup, I HIGHLY suggest using the Ballistic Vest glitch. It can save you in a very tough situation. All you need is the vest and a UAV. Pick the ballistic vest and just as you're going to let it go, press down to go to the UAV so you trick the game into thinking you used the uav when you really used the vest and now you have two vests. Check out, I think, Tech Takedown to see the actual glitch at work.

Try out: Recon Pro + Hardline Pro. Use flash/concussion with a grenade launcher attachment. Then use a Stinger or a XM25, depending on how you want to play. I personally use the Stinger to keep the skies clear. Then use Support w/ UAV and Counter UAV w/ empty 3rd slot. The point is to constantly get assists and stack your killstreaks.

On all my rushing classes I just ran support UAV and CUAV back in the day. Forced the enemy to use assassin and lose their snappy ads. Or I would be off the radar for 80% of the time and enemies on the radar, while maintaining range and have the jump on them that way. Mw3 is still my favourite cod because you could tailor your killstreaks to suit you classes individually. Since you could run predator, chopper and reaper on your more balanced classes without having to change them every game.

the best small support kilstreak set-up In my opinion is: UAV - CounterUAV - blank. if you got 25kills in a ground war: domination, your set-up gives you 3*UAV, 3* counter-UAV and 3*SAM turrets My set-up gives you 5*UAV and 5*Counter-UAV… given that each UAV grants 30seconds of visibility and counter-UAV grants 30 seconds of ‘blinding enemies’. You effectively get 150seconds of UAV and 150sec that the enemy can’t rely on his minimap… this makes it a MASSIVE improvement over the SAM turret.

Advanced UAV + Stealth Bomber + Osprey: get 14 kills, use the UAV, that also helps your teammates a lot. The Stealth Bomber with the radar is a triple kill guaranteed, so this makes you very close to the Osprey, which drops some cool packages (helicopters, Jugg suits etc.)

Counter UAV still prevents any enemy UAV sweeps from showing on Assassin user's maps. If they have a UAV up, it's not feeding them information about your position, basically cancels out to a regular radar again.

The best set up in the game is to just use two killstreaks, hardline pro, play the objectives like crazy and carry a stinger. Simply put your killstreaks should be UAV and CUAV. No third. Essentially you can always have a CUAV and UAV in the air. Use the stinger to shoot anything down (+1 to your killstreak) and getting 2 assists adds +1 to the Killstreak, plus all objectives you gain will add +1 to your killstreak plus all the kills you get on top of that. You forgot to mention that an EMP is the only thing that can counter steath bombers. If you are quick to fire it off when you hear the bomber approach the map. This way you can take it out without it even dropping a single bomb. This technique is a bit situational, but it`s a good thing to keep in mind.

No, Assassin does counter AUAV as well. The only way an Assassin player shows on radar is when tagged by Recon (perk) or Recon Drone. Test in in a Private Match if you doubt it. Assassin is designed to counter most Support streaks the same way Blind Eye is designed to counter most Assault streaks.

Many small support rewards can run havoc if done correctly. Don't use the sam turret. Simply use only uav and cuav. Yes its actually possible to run only 2 support killstreaks allowing you to rollover every 5 kills instead of 8 leading to almost nonstop uav/cuav on the enemy if your willing to play aggressively for kills/points.

Recon Drone + Advanced UAV, first you call in Advance UAV than start tagging people with Recon Drone. You will have a pseudo-blackbird. You have a very good point,but i have to agree with rpkgamer the whole kill streak system was to reward a player for doing well, if you just cap a few flags shoot down uav/Cuav/ext. to get to emp, it wrecks the guys busting ther asses off getting ac130s , it is overpowerd in my view. if you want a kill streak , get bettrr at the game, or my advice would be don't rush take a step back let them come to you:D no hate :)

I run 1 support class.. Airdrop trap, stealth bomber, and escort airdrop .. First i place down escort and add a decoy, so there's 2 Bobby traps... Lastly stealth bomb the area so it looks like your defending the packages.

Its a good thing that they have something to balance it ,but I think Infinity Ward needs to take stealth bomber off of support killstreaks though. It is to overpowered to be on support. They should make future support rewards objective exclusive. That is, you will only get those rewards from planting/defusing, capping, taking/returning, etc... And then maybe buff support as well so more people try to play the objective. Keep the death/no reset, and pretty soon everyone will play objective.

In theory, UAV, Counter, SAM in recyclable order should be super powerful, but with assassin, if you're a decent player, SAM, Stealth bomber, EMP is the way to go. Take down air support, kill everyone on objective and prevent AND take down air support.

Good commentary, i play mostly domination and many times i play support (specially when i'm in laggy lobbies or against players that are better than me. The only reason why i don't like running the recon drone when going for high end killstreaks is because it takes too much time and sometimes i wont get my emp because i took too long in the drone. I do use it but mostly at the end of the chain. A quick question though: do you think that players using support should play the objective?

Actually, Counter-UAV is still effective against Assassin players since it renders any enemy 'UAV' ineffective. What Assassin does do is not make your 'Radar' ineffective (that is to scramble your minimap) so that you may continue to use portable radars and see enemy gunfire on the minimap.

I agree entirelly, its just that the campers are now using support like everyone else. very few people seem to play assualt nowadays, and i'm simply putting my idea of how it should work out there. You have to admit, being able to get 18 points, not even all kills, to take out something that is just put in the air after getting 12 maybe 17 kills in a row is a bit op. that, and the steath bomber has, in theory, the same killing potential as a MOAB if someone knows how to use it.
