Yeah I’m really happy one shot sniping seems to be coming back to warzone. I hope they learned from WZ2 and don’t add high velocity rounds to snipers, or if they do, make it so that those rounds don’t one shot. Furthermore, one shot to the head only is plenty. WZ1 sniping was powerful, but challenging. Perhaps they could even make it a little more difficult in this iteration of the game. Just not by taking away the capability to one shot, like they tried in WZ2. If sniping like in WZ1 would come back I’d be happy though.

Something activision mentioned in a video they posted is that they did something with lighting so that you could still see enemies clearly in dark spots, might be why they are so clear to see

I'm leaning more towards the idea that all of the MWII weapons will be rebalanced for MWIII, especially if all the animations are changing and or being sped up.

Sniping is different now, well shooting is period. The kill is rewarded to the one closest to head shots. No longer who shoots first while camping corners etc.

It looks like MW2 because it IS MW2. Everyone has forgotten the news from 3 months ago when it was confirmed the original intent was that MW3 was DLC for MW2. There is no new engine or tech here.

One shot to the head only is plenty. Furthermore, I feel like they really shouldn’t add high velocity rounds to this iteration of warzone. They’d only be balanced if equipping high velocity rounds would remove the capability to one shot.

Thats one thing BF always got right over CoD. Snipers should only be a one-shot kill with a headshot. Chest and limb shots should require 2 shots.

Snipers are where they should be with this one. Everything feels proper and somewhat balanced. After playing the beta for roughly 4 hours I don’t have much to complain about yet. Level progression for guns feels a tad slow but the gun play feels really good and I’m glad they don’t have so much visual recoil as mw2

i prefer sniping in mw2. i like the realism aspects of visual recoil and aiming sway etc. i really hope we get the option to limit or move the HUD locations because that shit is so in the way

As a controller player on Xbox I'm not looking forward to playing against mouse and keyboard players on PC using one shot semi-automatic sniper rifles. I mean, 1hit kill to the chest is realistic for sniper rifles semi-auto or not, that is if we're leaning towards realism. The differentiating factor would be the bullet speed, gun sway and ADS speed, that's where I think they should look at and refine it.

The fact that everyone here will pay 70$ for this game just shows the devs you don't have to do much at all. As long as the title is call of duty people will buy it. Pretty sad considering this is what the super expensive "next gen" gaming has brought us. I will not buy this. To each their own but might as well just re-released mw2019 bc I see no difference and same amount of ppl would have bought it.

Please dnt say theyre strong. Theyre balanced. No one wants a 2 shot sniper. The WZ/DMZ stats for guns are different than 6v6 mp, hence why patch notes will say if a buff or nerf is for WZ or MP or both. The snipers are fine.

Apart from the completely cursed setting, sound and gun design, the gameplay of vanguard was actually quite fun imho and flowed so much better then MW2. So hopefully they can get things right here. I've sadly already seen builds of the new sniper with no stock and the most ridiculous looking grips and short barrels that look like monstrosities to me, so...
