It reminds me of my brother ( supposed to be my shikulu but was more of a brother than shikulu) Mr James Lembani Mwale who died in Luanshya April 2013 in Mikomfwa. He used to live near North bar and this song was a hit then in the juke box. I feel like crying right now. But what can I say, its life. may HSRIP

We used to play this song in Kabwe in the 80s. It was so real to me. Whenever I would hear it, I would emotionally feel for the foolish lady.

Be careful even when voting!
@jaynekadenda13402 жыл бұрын
Actually that is meaning, this song was talking about Welensky and Kaunda, people voted for UNIP based on what Kaunda promised them in his campaign messages. But it happened that people experienced more misery under the new government that they did under the old one, hence the song by Nashil Pitchen Kazembe. Nice piece.
