I like it. Military hardware doesn`t alway have to be crazy expensive to be effective and usefull. This and the Super Tucano are great examples of cheap but effect military equipment.

Pretty much, this is actually a rare concept, I doubt it would work brilliant in an actual warzone, but for coast guard, poaching prevention, policing, and maybe even low air danger warzones. A novel idea, hopefully this company has success! It’s about time our air industry returns to the heady days of Denel and Atlas.

Maybe I'm misreading things, but it looks to me like this thing does little, if anything, more than the USAF MQ-9 Reaper drone, save for putting the lives of two people in harms way.

Only 25 MQ9 can be used over Afghanistan, due to signals interference and bandwidth issues. Whereas hundreds of these could be used.

close air support,doable,reconnaissance and such is ok, but light fighter/fighter,no chance.most light fighters have jet propulsion,this may have a chance as light fighter in 3rd world countries though

This package plus other pods = targetting-pods(use as reconnaisance objective) = reconnaisance, Electronic-warfare, ... ... (comms)signal-relay = duration for loiter as priority = no armament except for those systems that require missile to be mounted due to the system using the missile itself to target. BVR under belly types even... should be considered by countries to be deloyed(indigenous modifications) as autonomous-drone for self-assurance during stressful periods. Countries can also use more expensive options like multi-role LCA and fighters for such roles.
