MWH Global Produces New Zealand's First Municipal Solar Sludge Drying Facility

Take a look at New Zealand's first municipal biosolid solar air drying hall. It'd been created by MWH Global for the Selwyn District Council's wastewater treatment plant in Canterbury. The solar halls dry sludge by 70%, dramatically reducing the amount of biosolids needing disposal. This is producing hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual savings.
