Jesus, while not a major player in the Jewish faith, is still a notable figure (if you ask an actual jewish person they can tell ya more but from my research he is recognized in the torah, though not as the son of god) Jesus and his deciples are not catholic they are JEWISH, both religiously and ethnically, and the last supper is a PASSOVER MEAL.
