That was my first experience watching your tool tour live, which is more interesting than passively watching. Its amazing how the price of hand tools have increased since KZbin has increased awareness for woodworking. Fortunately, I have been able to find a great deal now and then to balance out the tools that I over paid for 😊

I’m shocked half of them even bothered to show up?… Everything on some tables all together would be like $200…. And that’s considering that the demand for rusty,broken,and incomplete junk was in demand that particular day. I’d like to ask some of them: “SO!, How long did you collect the most boring mortise gages money can buy?” Why in the world they don’t clean up, fix up, and tune up?? Why make $15 when you could make $115.00 ?! Flea market people confuse me greatly. I seriously, actually saw a Disston D-100. 🙄 Just throw 1/4 of that stuff in the trash can.

For most of them the time required is not worth the money. And there is a huge market of users that want to find them in poor condition to save money. The rusty tools tend to sell faster.
