Yes, Mr. Scheps is a master engineer so I'm not sure why he seemed to be uncomfortable about the term "disciple" when asked if he has one.

Anyone know the model of speakers? I’ve seen Al Schmitt use them but can’t figure out the brand.

@Boissinova : if you mean the wooden ones. Tannoy Gold Dual concentric drivers. Passive cabs. Look like 10" Little Reds/SRM10B to me. Strangely they appear to have their shelving eq controls in different positions. However : the knobs are quite brittle plastic and would often swivel on the shaft. Like all quality monitors : get to know them with programme you understand and the Hit Record is just round the corner. :-) :-)

Robin Gardner duh...almost all popular music is done in the box these days. Post Malone’s engineer uses and apollo for all his vocals

The very short answer is of course ”yes” :) On Puremix.net there are several videos where you can watch him mixing whole songs ITB (and one on a console). He also goes through his mixing template, very detailed.

If you want a multiband compressor with almost non existent x-over phase issues try Dynone 3. Thank me later

The left monitor is 180 degrees out of place, or the right, its just a matter of looking...Or the whole is cut incorrect......

There is no disciple .....it is called engineering...and recording engineering has come to speed during the last 20 years...still not close to science as it should and must be but hopefully will get there.....so it is called education and experience
