This is the song that got me addicted to Motty Steinmetz's singing. I heard it in hospital and thought yes 3,000 years of Jewish history in one song! Starts off sad and breaking like the exile. Then gets steely, military almost, like Israel. Then picks up to the most amazing ending like the Messianic era is just around the corner. That's why I am the #1 fan of Motty Steinmetz.
